They are not semi trucks. Semi is the term used for a trailer. A semi-trailer has no front axles the truck pulling it is not the semi.

PS: You better get a hold of the NTPA, ECPA and all the rest of the various sanctioning bodies and make them aware of the correct terminology as well, because they've all had it wrong for several+ decades now.
