Lived in Salt Lake 2000-2003. Had season pass at Dear Valley. We would park on the Jordenel side. It had a gondola and parking for maybe 50 cars. Was so private. Such fond memories. Also skiing when the 2002 Olympics were happening was cool as only season pass had access to the mtn during events. Also some days after skiing afew hours would hit the Provo river and fly fish on the way back home.

Good bump skiing Lucas! When it comes to lift infrastructure many European resorts have installed these new heated 8 pac lifts many years ago. Austria leads the way when it comes to high speed / tech comfortable lifts. Mürren (Switzerland) has installed two new trams with the third tram which will operate starting March 2025. Enjoy the Keetley… enjoy the expansion 😊⛷

I know right. Amazing being at a West Coast chair lift and not thinking it's from the 1950s or before... 12:25 I’ve rode the orange bubble a few times which is similar to this lift and I just put my poles behind me or on the seat next to me and since there is no gap in the back they don’t fall out. Only problem is when you have a full lift.

Just came to say the same! Either behind or in front, but only when I'm with a group that's ok with it.
@user-uv2kj7rc4q2 күн бұрын
the new chairlifts are really cool but I feel like it's a little much having the shield thing come down. I hope some of the old chairlifts stick around because it's also nice to ride a chairlift exposed on the mountain where you can feel all the elements of nature. Also if snow gets on the bubble it'll make it hard to see the scenery from the lift

Looking to possibly invest in a condo/townhome out there and was trying to capitalize on breaking ground early pricing. I’m leaning towards something at Snowbasin or that East village area of DV.
