If u have watched the mandalorian docuseries, their latest episode is about legacy of star wars and they don't even mention sequel trilogy at all. They talk about luke as if sequels didn't happen. That shows no one cares about those movies. They are a joke even at Lucasfilm. Dave filoni also only talks about Episodes 1-6 and how star wars always about luke and Anakin. This is Kathleen's legacy.

A trilogy that followed it's lead wouldn't have been the dumpster fire that TLJ and TRoS turned out to be, but it wouldn't have had anything that made it stand out. In the end, though, TFA is terrible because of what it stole away from fans. For 40 years, Star Wars fans had been looking forwards to new movies with a reborn Jedi Order with Luke as Grandmaster fighting new and interesting foes. Han and Leia would have started a family and lived happily ever after. All the stuff the EU gave fans. Thanks to TFA basically resetting the status quo back to New Hope, we can never get that movie now and Star Wars is permanently scarred because of it.

Rogue one is all I wanted from a Star Wars film, it’s faithful to the other films (especially the original trilogy), it adds to the plot, the main characters dying was actually well done and Jyn doesn’t kiss anyone for the whole film. Also I don’t know if I’m the only one that thinks this but I actually think that you should watch Rogue One before episode 4 because it really builds the Death Star up as this indestructible weapon that can kill main characters, which makes it way more impactful when Luke blows it up

KK's contract expires at the end of next year. It hasn't been renewed with 18 months left. Disney renewed Fiege's contract with *3 years* still to run on it back in 2015. So, that's very telling IMO. My guess is Disney are letting her run out her contract. I think we hear her successor announced sometime in the next 12 months, and they are to take over LucasFilm end of 2021/ start of 2022.

I was watching The Gallery on Disney Plus. I don’t think they get along. In Kathleen’s segments, she was constantly interrupting Favreau and Filoni and it seemed like she was trying to brag that she’s worked with Lucas since the original Indiana Jones movies. She never offers anything insightful about Star Wars itself though like Filoni does on the very same show.

I just want people who care about Star Wars to write and direct Star Wars movies and tv shows why is that so hard to ask. The recent Star Wars films were bad, most of the characters barely had any arcs or their arcs are the same every movie cough Fin. Rey I'm sure we all agree is a Marry Sue there is no reason for to be this strong without any training. Plz Star Wars is going towards the right direction with Mandalorian and Clone Wars Disney don't mess it up.
