I watched and understood the OT at around 10, which is when I became a real fan. At the time when it was out, I found The Force Awakens to be pretty decent, not noticing the plot holes yet. What I don't understand about the Screenwriter is why didn't he make Luke like a Gandalf character? Where he was there and his presence was regal and kind and he used his powers when needed and guided Rey to become strong and confident and teach her. The character of Luke deserved better and Mark Hamill the actor deserved better. If he could go back in time, I bet he wouldn't have sold to Disney for any amount of money. I definitely feel like they tried to “undo” the prequels - for example, The Force Awakens doesn’t have a single moment of political worldbuilding, it literally skips over that part completely. They also tried to shove as much action in as possible and avoid quiet scenes unless absolutely necessary. I’ve also noticed that Disney shills tend to mock the prequels a lot when they defend the sequels. What they all failed to realise is that the prequel trilogy actually has a lot of fans - especially millennials, because we grew up with those movies, not the original trilogy or this new crap.

I really don't think so. For as bad as the trilogy was, having zero foresight or planning, it grossed like $4.5 billion and the two anthology films grossed like 1.4 billion. Plus final season of Clone Wars and Mandalorian basically buoyed Disney+ launch. And while Galaxy's Edge had a multitude of issues overall fiscally they are making hand over fist in money and end of day that's all bosses and stock holders want. The big problem is that sometimes Disney equates $ with quality. Once they start losing it than that's when they really exert pressure on people. Look how long it took them to tell EA to get their act together.

She probably wanted her own vision and realizes that she isn't that good at it. Kennedy worked for Spielberg and Lucas and wanted to put her imprint and take the cannon to somewhere she wanted to take it. Fans all around do not like what she has done, and her ego cannot handle it.

I only saw the new ones 1x and that was enough though I wish I could take that back. In the 90s growing up every time I went to Movie Gallery with my dad one of the first things I’d pick up was SW OT. I also loved the prequels for the most part too due to the lightsaber battles mostly. I can watch 1-6 every 2-3 years all over again and love every second. The new ones...I never feel an ounce of wanting to watch again. No story no background or anything on the new characters to make me even care about them other than actually rooting for the FO and KR to destroy the Resistance because I hate the new SW so much.

Unknown 84 it is one of the biggest hubs in the galaxy probably biggest apart from coruscant and I doubt they would build a giant metropolis like coruscant. Tattooine would 100% be perfect for shops , restaurants etc. There’s so much they could have done if they made it mos Eisley
