We don’t need more, and more, and more in between ROTS and A New Hope, or in between return of the jedi and the force awakens. They should just start a new story, perhaps with a different order of force users in a very far away and different galaxy

@@dcmastermindfirst9418 No, I haven't. I was one of the very few that knew Disney buying Star Wars was the worst thing to happen to my beloved franchise all the way back in 2012. The only good thing to come out of Disney Star Wars in my opinion is Rogue One and I feel that was by mistake. It actually respected the OT and added context to the state of the universe. That movie is how you utilize a female lead and a "diverse" cast the proper way without bashing your audience in the face with it. Everything else they've produced is not canon.

Republic Commando and KotOR are in my OG xbox collection from childhood, and my Steam AND Nintendo libraries, just so that I always have a way to play. I have a legit Pazaak app on my android backup phone to just play Star Wars blackjack sometimes 😂 The prequels, for all their faults, have given us some of the most memorable characters in science fiction, and some of the most universally understood and chuckle-inducing memes of our generation the world over. THAT is cultural weight. THAT is success. THAT is what Disney has blindly and narcissistically stripped away from the once indescribably brilliant LucasArts/LucasFilm EU.

If Daisy Ridley wanted to play a Jedi she should start working out right now. May be more agility focused, like flips and bending around. She doesn't need a six pack for this kind of a role, of course she doesn't have to beat her stunt double, but she needs to have "confident physicality". She's not supposed to be an awkward padawan but a master, and mastery over her mind and her body can't be fixed in post production. Her casting is equivalent to casting an awkward, scrawny, technically inept man as John Wick and then cutting action sequences to somehow make his bumbling seem competent.

In regards to the animated content, I can still sit through Bad Batch (finished TCW, haven't watched Rebels and will definitely not watch Young Jedi Adventures. You have to torture me before I watch that thing). There's still a little bit of that SW feeling left in it and it's easier on the eyes compared to the live-action shows. After I finish Bad Batch, and maybe get around to Rebels (and a few select episodes of Visions), that's all. No more Dick-Wars. Edit: I'm still trying to finish my review of Ahsoka, episode 7.
