It’s important to know that people with APD can go to therapy and learn to work through their social struggles. They aren’t “evil” or “doomed to be bad”. Their brains are just different socially. But they can learn and use methods to help with socializing (using logic to produce empathetic behavior, distancing to avoid manipulation, etc.)

That's me. Diagnosed at 14 for ASPD after I went through Elementary, middle and high school without making a single friend or bonding with anyone on any capacity. I'm now 22 and the naivety of "Don't worry, it will change when I grow up" already vanished. I made my peace with playing life on single player. It's a shame if you think about it. You live only once and you never get to experience the fun things people remember even after 50 years. Feeling love and being loved. Feeling joy of being around people you like, because you don't like anybody. Going out with that girl you find attractive, but don't have any desire to have her around, only see her as an unfilled checkbox on paper. Making friends for the sake of making friends instead of abusable connections you will exploit whenever you feel like it and then shut them off once they give you what you wanted... I sometimes go out into the public and sit in mall or a park for no other reason than to watch people around, groups of mom's with their kids, groups of middle schoolers chasing each other with sticks. Groups of teens laughing with each other saying how the party this weekend will be fun... It sickens me thinking about how much I'm missing out, it sickens me even more thinking about the fact that even if I changed tommorow how am I suppossed to catch up to 22 years of distance from social activities? I talk like a child, because I never spoke with anybody. Average person says more things in one month than I have in 22 years and what sickens me the most is that I no longer care. At least I used to have hope things will turn out okay and I will get to live a normal life like everybody else, but that hope is long gone. I wouldn't wish this to my worst enemies if I ever had any other than myself and I already lost that war.

This music is very peaceful and understanding. It's not like others of a dark story or a terrible ending. A simple tune for the people's ears that have been long forgotten. A calming melody that would strike at ashy hearts and erupt them to the flames they used to be. But of course it didn't really turn them alive. there's just that feeling to watch life fade from a living being, i do not hate that being but I'm simply curious what and how would it happen if no one saves it. What would happen when it's biggest fear come to life. I'm not responsible for that being to die but I'm very much capeable of saving it yet I do not and one day i will be the reason that being die. I do feel right or wrong and empathy but it's simply too weak. Seeing a vulnerable being just makes my inner sadist come alive. I'm not a psychopath for I do have feelings but I am a sociopath who is just anti-social and hates everyone ans everything for existing.
