What about grocery shopping areas in Curacao as well as healthcare facilities?

We can recommend the Centrum grocery stores, a very good brand. We don’t know about the healthcare facilities though. David did need to get a prescription medication refilled there and it was really cheap though. $3 for a three month supply.

@@jlw7441 We haven't stayed at any of the hotels in Curacao. And our budget Airbnb is probably not what you are looking for if you budget is $300. We hate recommending things that we haven't tried personally so I would say reading hotel user reviews is a better way to judge then our blind guess.

We felt very safe here and had no problems at all! However, I can't really speak about traveling as a solo female. David is every where I go, so it's impossible to know how men would treat me if I was a solo female traveler. I learned this the hard way in other countries when I had to go out alone because David was sick. It's crazy but it's a totally different experience when I go out solo. I didn't go out solo in Curacao though so I have idea what it would have been like.
