Just want to add a little context: 7:18 - "Realistically speaking, we should be dead in a matter of minutes." 8:59 - "Honestly, these captain-level marines should also be able to wipe the floor (with us.)" I'm glad you're calling out the marines as an overwhelming opponent because the anime can make it seem like they're not. Compared to the original manga, the anime stretches out the crew's fights to extend these episodes and makes the marines look weaker than expected. You're right, those captains are DEFINITELY formidable. 💪

Yup, classic anime, luckily none of the captains in that buster call had Logias or the crew wouldn’t have lasted long. The Straw Hats definitely leveled up over the past few arcs but not enough to fight 200 captains and 5 vice admirals hahaha
