Blackbeard is a helluva villain. Luffy saw something he didn't like when they met way back in Mocktown. When black bear was screaming at him about dreams, neither Luffy nor Zoro responded at all. That's not normal, Luffy will generally verbally acknowledge at minimum. Oda has said that he lets Luffy decide where they're going to go next. The Seven Warlords and the Supernovas, for instance, those were not in his original story.

Yeah Blackbeard really is OP. He knew his fruits big weak point even before he ate it so spent years training to compensate for that. Its not hard to hit him its just getting his HP down to 0 thats gonna be the issue

Blackbeard has the most op fruit in One Piece.. Luffy and Dragon also have op devil fruit compared to others.. but I find BB's power insane.. blackhole, nullifies the power, throws everything his power consumes, pulls a df user like Blackhole, and consumes any attacks and energy.. and you can find one more thing about it which made him more insanely OP and can be more and more op.. there is something more theory going on in manga which you guys are not ready yet.. explore the sea and find one piece, find the void century history about him lol (metaphor)

Garp is in his 70s. He's proud of his grandson, obviously, but he also has a job to do. He's also ridiculously powerful. Now imagine Garp in his prime. Garp is strong enough to be Fleet Admiral, even without a devil fruit. You are on Marineford so you have been introduced to the Celestial Dragons and you know what horrible people they are. Admirals have to obey any orders the Celestial Dragons give them. Can you see Garp doing that? That's why he's not an admiral. Makes it a little easier to understand how Dragon and Luffy could be related to Garp, I think.

Water7/Enies lobby arc surely is Oda magnum opus, its comparable to full metal alchemist brotherhood. From start to finish its perfect, but that doesn't mean its odas peak. This is just the beginning where the lore goes on overdrive and really expands, It grasps the viewers by the balls with how fast things progress from here.

He is genuinely one of my favorite villains in not just OP but all of anime! Oda has done a fantastic job of making him similar to Luffy but with a warped mindset that turns him into his antithesis. His speech from his first encounter with the Straw Hats takes on so many new dimensions when taken into account the whole of his personality & his arc in the series.
