Ooo! I bought a lucet and have been happily making cords and laces, but this video has the 2 techniques I was missing to start turning my chunky cording into scarves!! 2 bend rows = a U-turn!! (And I was picking up the top stitch when trying to join, not the bottom! - it was twisting funny and looked rubbish) So Thankyou!!!

I know I'm very late to the party, but where can I buy this tool? It's amazing and, in my opinion, a must have! I saw on your website something about only shipping to Canada but there's seemingly no option to order anyway?

My tool is a combination of 2 lucet styles which you can buy individually/separately on the internet. I just incorporated both into one (I didn't invent the wheel, I just put 2 together...). I am not selling them anymore as I no longer have business insurance. It would have cost me over $5000 per year to be covered if I was to sell to any US customers and more to other countries. I just could not sell enough to justify that expense that is why I was selling them only in Canada.

I am braiding a rug If I increase on both sides of the lucet alternatively what will happen? Sue

I am sorry to respond to your question just now. I was not receiving the notices that I had messages- hopefully now I will after reviewing my settings page. I think if you increase alternately you may end up with a kink or elbow in whatever straight braid you are doing. I will practice a couple of ways that I think you mean and get back to you but perhaps you have already discovered what happens!
