Native korean here! “Goguma” is a literal translation for sweet potato in korean. And nope, there is nothing added to the sweet potato! It’s a different type of sweet potato we eat in korea and if you bake it, super sweet.

Hi Lucia 🙂 If you like visiting markets, you would love the UK. Most towns have markets, two or three times a week, where you can buy anything from leaf tea 🍵 to batteries 🔋 and of course, lots of food. I like your robe. My house is Elf free 🚫.

I love seeing your solo dates it’s really inspiring! I’m an introvert and often love going on little dates with myself too! As far as the elf my family didn’t really do that if we misbehaved they would just get Santa on the phone (was probably one of my uncles) and had us discuss how we could make better choices next time😂 so hilarious looking back on it

Elf wasn’t a thing when I was growing up, however as a teacher I do it with my students. Funny thing is I do have an extremely old elf I inherited from my grandmother.

Wow! Union square markets are nice! And the sweet potato! I love seeing all the decorations in NYC . Our family tradition was my dad making homemade old fashioned fudge and popcorn! We looked forward to it every year!🎉 He always struggled to get the fudge to come out firm. It was always too surpy.😮. But, we loved it so! 😮. I have very fond memories of the joy and anticipation of that warm fudge and popcorn on the side for the crunch! 😀 @harbourbluexoxo

@lindaannwhite I love your sweater Lucia! We had an elf growing up but it was just a decoration. It didn’t have any magic. Now I search for fun ideas to send to my daughters to try on my grandchildren’s elves. The concept is fun. I do have an elf, it’s actually similar to the one I had growing up. I put it in my tree and tell my grandchildren, it’s watching them and reports back to Santa.

Wow you looked so cold! 🥶 I do my own pedicures in the winter 😂 When my grandson slept over (I’m a young Mima!) he brought his Elf on the Shelve in the carry case…so it was up to me to figure out something for Frisbee (Elf’s name) so I watch KZbin & so does my grandson, so I got a toilet paper roll and drew a U on it & left a note saying this is how I watch KZbin & sat it on Frisbees lap! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 deborahm0814

mercedes.r44 I never did elf on the shelf growing up but I really wanted to do fun traditions with my daughter. So my husband and I find creative places to hide the elf and it's so cute. She's only 2.5 so we aren't to the super creative things yet but it still so fun to see her get excited to go find him every morning. Curious what she will name him as she gets older like you did!

I have never had elf on the shelf growing up! Strictly Santa Clause and a "Good Deed's Box" where we would start in December and write notes of all the "Good Deeds" that we did that holiday season, like for example shoveling the driveway or helping cook dinner or something! And then the box would be sent to Santa :)

I’m looking forward every day to seeing you show new things around New York City cause I’ve never been there. It’s so much fun and I went out and got myself a pair of earmuffs because yours looks so cute. My parents gave me a red elf. It’s gotta be 50 years old That was on the tree when I was a little girl and his hands are joined together because he actually go over his knees and he would sit up in the Christmas tree. I don’t know if he had a name. I’ll have to ask my dad my dad‘s 96 and he’s still alive. I’ll have to ask him if the elf had a name! I just think it’s cute after all these years little outfit at Christmas time is so popular Anyway thanks for another cute video. i did have an elf growing up!! her name is elfie-i know, original😂 my immigrant parents tried really hard to ensure that i grew up with the classic christmas experience that other kids got to experience, which i am super grateful for!! i don’t really continue the tradition now that i live alone and it creeps me out a little HAHA😓 i love your vlogs btw, seriously is a breath of fresh air! @coolestbeansz
