Knowing the story of the lyrics..I cannot stop to cry...the immagine of Caruso,beside the gulf of Sorrento..with his wife..telling her he’s dying..while she cries...singing “I love you so much”...that’s it’s out of my possibilities to control my emotions..Amazing Lucio Dalla,the song writer,and amazing Luciano Pavarotti..

This song is about Enrico Caruso, the opera singer's opera singer. At the age of 48, after just two years of happy marriage, success and fame in America, and a baby daughter, Caruso learned from his doctors that he was dying. Lucio Dalla wrote this song about him, imagining how he would tell his wife this sad news. Are you ready for "Una Furtiva LaCrima"?
