One of his best performances. He carries the legato exceptionally well and doesn’t rush the line but rather draws it out. He keeps the mouth convergent so the sound stays musically sweet and round, he keeps the cords soft and vibrating freely so the richness of harmonics and buzz comes through for his small light voice. The vowels are subtly shaded. Very well done

The peerless L.P. performs at his summer base by the sea. The beauty of tone, the depth of feeling, and also the sincerity in his voice are wonderful. I have the belief that his own soul is revealed, and that too is a thing of beauty. With L.P. so much more than just the notes is produced in this superb aria.
