Peter Rawlinson is a great engineer. He also worked in Germany at RUF. He apparently managed to make the transition from developing combustion engine cars to developing modern electric cars with ease.

What an incredible presentation! I am a Lucid bull and have read Mr. Peter Rawlinson's biography numerous times, but your presentation somehow made me feel like I was hearing it for the first time. It's quite humbling, considering I know you as the most passionate Tesla advocate on KZbin and beyond. Not many people knew a lot about inside of engineering and people of Tesla beside Elon Musk. When I knew Tesla close to 20 years ago, heard of lots of Musk’s public interviews. What I wanna know was how a people or company can succeed like that. A company was formed by lots of talents inside of it, not just one man. Of course there’s one man lead the company to success, but there’re so many more important roles to make it realistic. JB Straubel, Peter Rawlinson, Franz von Holzhausen, Drew Baglino, … etc. are all great contributors to Tesla.

You’re not an early believer because you wouldn’t be praising Peter for the stock price now. Maybe instead of paying him his outrageous salary they should have made him hit goals like delivering cars and keeping the stock price up.
