When we were kids everything was better without knowing how hard life can be, it wasn’t easy for me, but now… now it’s a little bit harder❤️🙏

No, the reality is we were never taught how to deal with the actual reality of life. A better way to look at it. There's beauty only if you look for it. We need to figure out how to do that by ourselves. It's not gonna be easy, but it's worth it.

Im the living proof you can go from stealing, institutions, prison, addicted to drugs.. Too sober and owning a my own business and at least putting up hell of a fight. But damn im living in meriden, connecticut is not where i want my story to end. I still battle homelessness on a regular basis because of a eviction and criminal record. wish i knew better as a young man.

Hey Billy its been a few year and i found your message on youtube, you are no longer homeless great job holding it down and surviving these last two year. Great job for not relapsing when your friends around you are dying, great job not giving up. 🎶💚📗✝️

@@plantlove5257 Here are three: "It's tiring, to try to fight to be inspiring, when your neurons are misfiring due to faulty wiring, stifling the sight of light, it frightens me, I feel a heightened sense of sobriety when I hear the insights on what guides society, where we thrive, and derive our drive to arrive at a better life, it's enlightening, so despite the height of this spike in my plight with suicide, I decided to override the part of my mind that tires me, I can't sit by idly, it's about time to write rhymes and ignite the fire that resides inside of me, and maybe you, together let's get better and sever the tether that binds our minds from being stronger than leather, and remember that in the end, energy can never be created or destroyed, it goes on forever..." "I've got dreams, and I've got goals, now I relinquish your control, it seemed that you had quite the hold, but I intend to mold my soul, let me present the present me, me and pain got chemistry, but friends prevent the end of me, so take back your fuckin' pleasantries, depression, and anxiety, won't stop me from entering, a better place, I'm centering, on better space, not censoring, my heart or face, when things get bad, use CBT, pop Ativan, and damn, I'm free, parkour some more, and let it be, bring what's in store, I'll pay the fee, life get's worse? Fine, we'll see. This is for those who feel so low, we've made it this far, and farther we'll go, sometimes it hurts, believe me, I know, but your hope should come first, when you need it the most, these aren't just words, I decided to post, I have lived every thought, and continued to grow..." "When one leaves, we grieve, but deep down I believe, that memories are key, they keep the deceased from ceasing to be, in our hearts, they'll be free, while the body finds peace, the soul is released, and never truly recedes, the smiles in their eyes, or the crease of their cheeks, it binds to our mind, and the feeling repeats, so please don't be deceived, death isn't life's defeat, but a change in it's scene, so remember, my friend, their love never retreats, it exists in a space, that death cannot reach, so you're never alone, just in a different home, where one day you'll meet, we live, and we love, and the cycle's complete..."

@Jesse White dude. Those are skilfully excellent, from pain. One question I always ask is how pain can be so beautiful when presented as such. It is frightening, 100 percent. It's crazy how you sent these tonight. Definitely helps. Thanks for sharing man.

[Verse 1: Joel Woods] When I was a kid Never thought that I would grow up Never thought that God would show up Never thought that I was enough, yeah When I was a kid Always thought that dad was a genius Always thought that bro was the meanest Always thought that mom was the sweetest, yeah Some days it looks bad Some days it looks bright Some days I can't fight Some days it's just life I really wish that I could go back No regrets I'm really just sad Never said I love you like that Never really hugged you like that Always just sat in the back playing Nickelback iPod blasting Photograph It was like a minivan soundtrack on the way to outback After Sunday service Learned about Daniel and the furnace We made songs from the verses I don't have to tell you, but I know what growing up in church is Do what you're told and the devil won't get you I wish it was really that simple I'm not even trying to be sinful I'm just trying to show love But sometimes I mess up Like when I was a kid in Connecticut [Hook: Joel Woods] (When I was a kid) (When I was a kid) (When I was a kid, when I was a kid, when I was a kid) [Verse 2: Lucidious] When I was a kid I was trying to make space and escape from the place I lived And when I was a kid I would act out just to feel something embracing risk And when I was a kid If anybody talked shit, first thought was to raise a fist Just blame anything when the anger hit And take it out on myself when I aimed and missed So I talked it out and the doctor prescribed He said "Take this, it's an SSRI We'll check in a month if you're feeling alright" Then asked if I'm focused, I said "Well, not quite" Then added a dose in for ADHD Wasn't really sure if I could take these safely Every time I missed a pill it would make me shaky Wasn't really liking the way it changed me I would rather feel low than numb Once I got off all of that I really opened up Emotions suck, but only when you close 'em shut They're beautiful and really where the stories come I still, mess up as it all unfolds I weigh sin and I question what I've been told I don't know how far I'll make it down this road I'm just a kid trying to heal my soul (my soul, my soul, my soul)

The doc just gives you more meds as that's their job but they don't help and if they say you good and you say no they say oh well here's more meds 👌🏻 😔 and when you miss a dose you feel withdraw and it's just so stupid meds are supposed to help but they actually do more harm the good.
