Nesting was so overwhelming for me, around 30 weeks I just felt like I had absolutely nothing ready and he was gonna be here so soon and I ended up buying everything we still needed in 2 days and setting up all of his things and deep cleaning the whole house, I also planted all of my vegetables and flowers for the year and had a garage sale, made my boyfriend deep clean our cars and instal the car seat bases 😂 it’s this overwhelming feeling that you need to have everything ready! At least that’s what it was for me

I'm in the middle of nesting. Basically I want everything to be clean and organized, I cleaned all the baby clothes and folded everything in the KonMari way. My bags are ready, I made lists of all the things necessary to take to the hospital. It's a little bit more intense than organizing and you want to make everything as cosy as possible. Like a bird making a nest really 🦊😅💕🇫🇷

I had my baby 7 months ago! Nesting was basically wanting to get everything together, cleaned up, organized and ready to go! My nesting also consisted of getting rid of a lot of stuff that I didn’t need anymore.

I'm type A, so it was hard for me to know exactly when nesting started happening but you just know 🤷‍♀️I had most of the nursery done, supplies bought, apartment in order but around week 35 this CRAZY anxiety just consumed me and gave me energy to do things that weren't even on my original to-do list! And once I got all the nesting things done, it reaaaaalllllyyyy started to set in the baby will be here any day and that's a really cool ecstatic feeling too :)

I can’t wait for your nursery haul! Would love to see what you’ll pack for your hospital bag as well. I remember with my first, I started really nesting around 32 ish weeks. Basically it involved making lots of lists and needing to clean and wash everything. 😂

We have a touch faucet, and we love it. However, your muscle memory takes over after awhile and you start touching every single faucet you come across, sometimes twice because you don’t “know” why it’s not working. Then 💡and you remember…. Oh ya. 😂😂

In past pregnancies, nesting has happened around week 36 or 37. You do get the energy to thoroughly clean every corner of the house. If you nest right now, you'll probably need to thoroughly clean again closer to your due date. 30 weeks today for me. 10 more weeks to go :)

Two important things for a baby. You probably know this already. Touch = lots of affection. Music. Soft, Pretty classical music - while the baby is sleeping. As a grandmother with a highly intelligent daughter and equally intelligent grandchild...these are very important. Also, my sister's daughter is on her way to a physics Ph.D. Congratulations and all the very best to you and your family. 🍀🌹

I would love to know your 3 1/2 minute make up routine I’m about to have my second daughter in 6 days and I’m going to have to figure out a faster routine also nesting is NEEDING to clean every crevice of your home to make sure it’s ready for baby I’m currently in the middle of it basically you want everything absolutely perfect before they come

YES! I pretty much just do a little concealer on breakouts, some bronzer & blush, and then mascara! No eyeliner or contouring or anything!

Maybe in the US and Canada. But places with universal healthcare often provide out of hours contacts, especially for pregnancy (and it's free, as healthcare should be)

I can’t “text” my doctor but I can message her whenever and they get back pretty fast. It’s through this portal system where you also make appointments and pay bills and stuff

My doctor doesn't take insurance so she makes herself more accessible to her patients! She gives us a work number and tells us to text if we have any questions!
