Hello LucieV, Lucy voice is like a magnet it just draws you in, it's so warm and pure, I think not like any other voice I have heard. Lucy skipped the light fandango in this song to go deeper and different. Great singing and good video production, especially the pale shades scene contrasting with Lucy rich in colour to match her voice. Very nice.

That's one thing I love about this particular presentation is that she hangs out most of the time in that absolutely beautiful husky alto. She's really showing you what she can do in that range in this song. I love the restraint and I love how much character it conveys. And I know exactly what you mean about what she does with her eyes and her facial expressions. Wow. Although to be fair, I get that from you as well to some degree! 😊

I would love to hear Lucy sing some of the Carpenter's songs. She has a similar range as Karen and both have unique gorgeous voices. There will never be another Karen Carpenter but I believe Lucy Thomas has the voice to make some beautiful covers of some of their songs. Just a thought. Love your video Lucie. 😊
