Just like Mum, I feel like the audience thinks Chloe is incapable of being in high society but we all forget that she grew up being raised by an actress and was one herself. Chloe knows how to party when she wants to.

"How could they be so dense?" .... Have you not met Lucy? This is par for the course. After all he's only been on Earth for a few years and mostly just partying.

Chloe singing and dancing to Chet's song is a quintessential Lucifer moment that will never leave my brain 😂 I don't drink much, but to me, tequila is like rubbing alcohol. If I'm drinking, it's almost always going to be a good rum 😋

Tom Ellis in "Players", no eyeliner 😀

trick is that Maze is one of extremely few characters that know how to, and are able to, hurt Lucy where it matters. All to the good, then, that she is all about the physical aspect. :P

Ha you remind me of Baz Luhrmann's "Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen)" spoken word song. Was really big around the time I graduated high school about 20 years ago, and... God it's so true. Like everything he says, and what he says about what he says.. yeah. Check it out.

Thanks for your reactions. They make good days even better and bad days less so. Concerning the list of Ellis' work: Just before Lucifer he was the lead in "Rush", a show about a brilliant doctor with addiction/career/daddy/love issues, discreetly catering to the wealthy on call. I.e. like a much darker Royal Pains. He killed the part and the show itself was quite good with a good soundtrack, casting and decent writing. Unfortunately, it only got one season, but fortunately this gave him time to audition for Lucifer. As I also love good banter, quick wit, a little quirkiness and good/creative use of language, and share your disdain for lack of communication‐driven plots, I think you might like the multi‐award‐winning British series Good Omens (Prime original). Authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman (who is also the showrunner), based on their bestselling book. Two seasons w/ 6 episodes each, the third and final one is in the pipeline. Starring David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Jon Hamm et al. Similarly invested and positive fanbase.

My youngest loves Good Omens. LOVES!!! Had multiple copies of the books and watched the series so many times. It's great.

@AnnaAlexanderAuthor Great, but also a great shame. Would have loved to watch it another time together with you. :) Another comment suggested Monday Monday for an earlier Ellis (2009). I second this; really very funny and only 7 episodes of one finished story arc. However, the sitcom Ellis became most famous with in the UK was Miranda, starting the same year (2009-2015, 3.5 seasons w/ 6+6+6+2 episodes). Most of the episodes are on YT, but the upload quality is only about bearable for the first two seasons. About the eyeliner: I saw an interview somewhere where Ellis admitted doing the eyeliner himself in S2 and that it got a little out of hand towards the end. :-))

If its any comfort...I avoid tequila too. It isn't that I hate it, its just that it exacerbates an underlying allergy to remaining clothed. On Cinco De Mayo years ago, I discovered this after multiple rounds of shots and several upside down margaritas poured into my mouth while I leaned back in a barber chair. I woke the next day, fully dressed, at home, in my own bed...with no idea how I got there. When I went use the bathroom, I found piles of one dollar bills falling out of my undies. It took grilling my friends to find out that, during the last half hour of the night, I became a male stripper on one of the speakers, and when the bar closed I had to be dressed and helped into a friends car, then deposited in my bed. On the brightside...it was a flattering amount of cash in my shorts...but not anything I would have volunteered for if I'd had even a slight sense of self control.

I'm with you on the alcohol ratings. I tended bar at a beach resort here in Florida all the way through college and hated making anything with tequila or gin. I've tried neither because even their aroma makes me grimace. Thankfully beach goers tend to order beer or daquiris so it wasn't often an issue.

I don't think this is a spoiler, but they never touch upon Maze "Handling" the ethic board guy. It was the one plot point I wish they had followed up on.

If there are other Vancouverites watching, could you tell me where the scene of Lucifier and Maze fighting is filmed? I recognize it as downtown Vancouver, but I have been racking my brain trying to figure out the exact location. I saw a reference online to Oceanic Plaza (Burrard & Hastings), but that doesn't look correct.

Hi Anna! Love your Lucifer reactions ❤️ If you're interested in Tom's early work, Monday Monday is on You Tube...it's a BBC comedy and in it; Tom is au natural including a mop of thick, dark, curly hair 😊 Again, love your channel! Have a great weekend.

You've got the right idea about the grades of tequila; I don't drink blanco either. Now you need a class in *gin.* Gins are the only base liquors that are intentionally flavored and with flavorants used nowhere else. Tasting one means little in tasting another. Hendrick's, for instance, is flavored with rose petals (among other things). The nose alone is delightful. For your first *martini,* be careful of the ingredients. More than any other cocktail, it is only as good as what you put in it. Use a good gin (Bulldog is excellent) and a very good vermouth (I like Dolin de Chapuyes Blanc - a capful to 3 ounces.) and a dash of bitters. Shaken or stirred the drink must be cold. Strain and serve over a green olive (stuffing optional). Now, most olives are too briny. Try Pearl's Simply Olives (in a can) which you can find at many grocery stores. And if God smiles upon you, lightly brined green olives stuffed with an almond (e.g. Spec's does them) for the perfect martini. Yum!

A good gin is a must for a martini and that is stirred. Vodka martinis are shaken and considered cheap martinis. I will drink a vodka martini in the day but a good gin and a very good vermouth is the best to me. Bitters I have used off and on depending on how I felt but always olives maybe a citrus twist. Bombay Sapphire is a good starter gin but the higher quality you go the better the martini.

I am definitely a tequila person, lol. Preferably blanco, definitely NOT anejo. In fact, as far as I'm concerned brown liquor can go straight to hell. 😀 Good thing there's something for all of us out there.
