You've got the order of events for the Exodus wrong. 1) Escape Egypt 2) Fallow Godly GPS 3) Make rest stop for Moses to download instructions from the cloud to his tablet. This is where the Jews got bored waiting cause the WiFi was too slow. So they were like, Egypt had that 9G speed and now we only have 1G! So they copied a Bable/Egypt calf god. 4) Moses tells the Jews they've pisses him off by trying open source religion and He's turning off the GPS for 40 yrs.

Doubt you will see this comment, but stapling wounds is actually normal. I was in spain once, and managed to fall a couple of meters and gash my leg. Was certain i had to get stitches, so we drove to a close hospital. Doctor assured me everything was going to be fine. Proceeded to approach my leg with what looked like a kingsize stapler. Stapled my wound together, bandaged that shit up and sent me on my way. Arrived like a week later to remove the staples. Wound had grown nicely, and just a small scar remaining to this day. This might just be a spaniard thing, as i've never heard of anyone in my homecountry of Norway having a wound stapled shut, but it definitely works.

God did that to punish him cause at the start he told him to talk to the stone and water will come out of it but he hit it with he's walking stick... So by doubting god he's punishment was to only see Israel and not enter it.. that's why they took all this time in the dessert so moses will doe of old age before he enter Israel (Canaan)

Okay, the reason the desert thing feels so out of place, is because the writers were having trouble thinking of a way to finish the season. So one of them finally said, "well, what if we gave him his wings back?" and that's what they did. With no idea what it meant for the next season. It explains why they made some of the decisions they did in the 3rd season.
