Making him feel regret seconds before he dies so that he goes to hell...diabolical. What I like here is that for all Lucifer's lament about losing his devil face, everything changes here. It's in those final words with Cain that he gives voice to his monster - and his devil face comes back because he enjoyed personally damning Cain to go to hell . What's even better is the fact that Lucifer has no idea the face is back - until he sees Chloe's reaction.

Regardless of the circumstances, that was the first time Lucifer killed a human, the second time killing anyone. Not surprising that would make Lucifer feel like a monster again🤷‍♀️

Definitely, all fans of the show went crazy when it was canceled by Fox. #SaveLucifer was a global trending topic for several days. Petitions signed by thousands of people were made to save the show, and after a month of negotiations, Netflix picked up the show. and that was the best for everyone, they gave us S4 (10 longer episodes) emphasizing the supernatural part and not police procedures, S5 (16 episodes) this is the best season in my opinion, and S6 (10 episodes ) to give it an ending with an unexpected twist. The real reason for the show's cancellation was that Fox was bought by Disney at the time, and Lucifer belongs to the DC world. it was said that the ratings back then weren't high, but they weren't low enough to call it off either. Both Fox and the showrunners had no idea how global the show was, with fans all over the world. Once released on Netflix, it was the most watched show in both 2019 and 2020. in fact, the show was going to end on S5, but Netflix requested one more season due to its success.

I discovered the series by accident only a few months ago. I don't have Netflix or Fox, so I don't follow their schedules. As far as I'm concerned, my favorite Lucifer is the one from the first three seasons. Mainly because he is less submerged in problems and in the sense of melancholy that his emotional growth has brought with him. But I also enjoyed the last three seasons. The character is lovable and it's impossible not to get attached. And everyone else is adorable too. For this reason, although the investigative part has never convinced me, I enjoyed the show. Thanks also to the entire cast, very good. I liked them all. Perhaps the only one that has given me less emotion is Pierce/Cain, I think due to the lack of expressiveness of Tom Welling (but this is a personal taste, maybe I'm wrong).

8 months in total we had to wait for the next chapter, me and millions of other fans went mental and got that show back, we had the two what if episodes so enjoy them.

Probably my favorite finale of the show and I'm a devil of my word. I think the reason that Lucifer's devil face came back was a result of how he was feeling at the end of Cain's life, almost like someone who was reveling someone's suffering, like a devil. Also, I think that Cain might be Lucifer's actually nemesis in the show, biblically/storyline wise it makes sense. None of the other antagonist ever really felt like a parallel for Lucifer's journey like Cain did

My theory on Lucifers devil face coming back is yes because he killed Pierce but really because an angel killing a human is a big no no. We saw lucifer struggle after killing his brother and his struggle when he wanted to kill the sinnerman he kidnapped so we know it's a rule that he still acknowledges. So while calling Pierce out as a monster deep down he also meant himself because he crossed a line he wasn't ready for. At least that's what I got from it

I personally think that when Lucifer was speaking to Cain at the end, he got his devil face back because his speech was almost mirroring his own belief about himself. Being a monster that deserves to go to hell. But that's just me

Watching this episode already knowing about the show being cancelled was so hard, frustrating and heartbreaking... because the last 2 episodes were so good, the story was finally reaching the point we’d all been waiting for and we were left not knowing what would happen to the characters after this bomb reveal... So yeah, we all, including the cast, producers, script writers, fought to save the show and to at least get a satisfying ending that wouldn't leave us so frustrated. I never expected that we’d get more than 1 more season so to get 3 more was amazing ! The two extra episodes were a bittersweet watch for me at the time but I’m curious to see your reaction to them. Once upon a time was directed by Kevin Alejandro aka Dan, it's my favourite out of the 2, there's also a great easter egg for fans of the comics as Neil Gaiman (author of the comics) does the voiceover.

To this day, i firmly believe that Caine's hell loop is not killing Charlotte, but the moment that Lucifer made him realize that he was going to hell. All the dreams of dying he had over a thousands of years all shattered in that moment because he felt the guilt for killing Charlotte, and THAT is his guilt. Similarly i also believe that Charlotte went to heaven not because she saved Amenadial, but when he made her realize that what she did was truly a good deed.

FOX cancelled the show AFTER this episode. Show writer Joe Henderson half-joked that they ended Season 3 in such a way that FOX would not dare cancel it. OOPS!
