I adore this show. I was so happy when Netflix picked it up. But then to hear that season 5 will truly be its last is really a hellish heartbreak. Hopefully they will finally give Chloe & Lucifer their happy ever after. At least in a way that they can still be together, Chloe doesn't have to lose her soul, Lucifer doesn't stop being the devil, and Trixie doesn't lose her mommy.

I just got the feeling that releasing just a few episodes is something many shows are currently doing. The show got a yes for a 22 episodes season somewhere end October. Could be that they need time to shoot those... But it's just an assumption, of course! Maze totally turned into one of my faves this season. I have a random book recommendation, specifically I am pointing to the third in a trilogy but the first two are good too. Its by Sarah Fine and the series might be called Servants of Fate. And not to spoil it but there are two characters in it that remind me of these two sooooo much.

Its a fun little trilogy, the first two are from different character perspectives but they are the world building novels (the first one is, the second is where the world starts to fall apart and the third is the battle novel). What is curious, though, is what they did with the two characters at the end of the story is that, while it would entirely be up to the author, a story about them going forward might be interesting. Its just that the trilogy is set up among three siblings and there aren't any left.
