Maze is a professional of psychological torture (learned from the master) and in this case, she broke Lucifer. Maze knows Lucifer very well and she knows what buttons to push to lead him to self-destruction.

The song "In the Air Tonight" is my favourite from the Lucifer soundtrack. It's the one that plays at the end ❤️ Hardly any reactor says anything about the songs in Lucifer. "Unsteady" is also another gem. It's plays when Chloe is in the hospital poisoned and Lucifer goes to hell to get the formula for the antidote and Amenadiel is just looking over Chloe as a guardian angel ❤️

Lost his mark coz that was the one selfless thing he has done ever. He thought getting her to say those words would actually work but that would have hurt her so much worse so he stopped her before she could say them because he knew he was just using her.

I didn't hate Maze, felt more sad for her, most of the people who she felt close to were all intereacting with each other but not her. For a demon that has never had a soul and who has done nothing but torture people her whole life is now supposed to integrate herself differently than she ever has in her life with no help from anyone really. She had to go off by herself to try and find out where she fit in. She, with out a soul, had more feelings than anyone with a soul. Yes, people more or less told her she shouldn't feel that way but never really addressed her issues.

he felt bad for Chloe because she was gonna get hurt emotionally. by stopping her, he got rid of the curse. but if he dies, he's gonna go to hell for eternity. he has done so many bad things in his life, how is eternity in hell better than eternity on earth? I get that he wants to die to end it all but he knows that dying isn't the end, he knows what's coming next.

@@Scheherasad well if you feel bad about hurting someone, you stop yourself because you realize you did something bad. I guess he kinda feels guilty about what he tried to do to Chloe just now. also his brother was always tortured about being killed by Caine over and over, it didn't feel like guilt. I know Lucifer says you can walk out anytime, but no one ever does (except his mother but it's kinda different) and if you get out, where do you go? there are still some grey areas in there.

You know, I only felt sorry about Chloe. Everyone's keeping secrets from her, Lucifer doesn't even show her a proof but then he's whining about how she doesn't believe him. He could just tell her Pierce is the sinnerman or show her his wings. (And personally, hiding things is a lie for me.) Literally everyone is fooling her. I can type these next things because you're at season 4 on patreon. No wonder she felt lost when she found about the truth.

Maize was being a hypocrite here though . She is hurt that Lucifer only wants her as his friend & partner in crime when it's convenient for him . Isn't that the same thing she is doing to Chloe ? It's not Chloe's fault that Lucifer won't take her home . But she still wants to punish her nonetheless by knowingly pushing her to marry an immortal who is using her so he can get what he wants . I mean for someone who was all about " friendship " & " betrayal " for last couple episodes she herself betrayed both Chloe & Lucifer & didn't think twice before doing so . Lucifer took her for granted , hurt her unintentionally because he's a jerk many a times & he's that clueless about feelings . It also took him a long time to get out of the definition of their previous relationship which was essentially of king & servant . However he wouldn't knowingly plot against her or betray her which maize does . And this isn't the first time . ( Won't be the last ) She can be as self destructive as Lucifer . But her repeated betrayals are just too much .

And then hopefully Lucifer can cradle Chloe in his big angel wings and say "Everything is gonna be fine" and we can have Deckerstar little babys, little nephalims.' LOL ! Are you trying to spoil your own youtube channel ? Hillarious !!! For me, this episode was very interesting. There are very rare events in the show Lucifer when God is intervening, e.g. the last episode of season 1, the last season of episode 2 (giving back Amenadiel the ability to slow down time on a one time basis) and now in this episode, removing Cain's mark. What I do not understand is why Lucifer stays so calm on the full scale betrayal of Maze. Lucifer has gained more control over his feelings from season to season but escpecially in this episode he let loose all of his feelings about Chloe and is fully driven by emotions. And there is not the slightest sign of anger about Maze.
