Remember in s3 ep11 when Lucifer stole the car, he was driving like Rory?🤣 Also the reason why Amenadiel is trying so hard isn't because of his police career. He joined police force because wanted to help people, so when he saw the injustice, he tried to do something

This episode tweaks me in the same way the previously referenced episode does. They wildly exaggerate the racism in the LAPD, and later in this episode they flat out say that Chloe never noticed because of "white privilege." GMAFB. Otherwise, great episode.

Exactly they forced in topics that makes no sense in the show. Especially seeing how criminals were dealt with in previous seasons. Even with Kaleb the storyline was weird. Same precinct meaning same people you see daily and everything. Dan and chole knows these cops and more. Since dude is a detective there's more notice towards him. Makes 0 sense the writers just wanted to put this type of stuff in

To be fair, Chloe had been either very distracted or distraught ever since the later half of the season 3 - getting polled between Cain and Lucifer, tried to get married, called it off, found the truth about Lucifer, Eve, Lucifer leaving, Michael, God, and leave LAPD. I'll give Chloe a pass for not paying too much attention on "Earthly matters".
