Could you imagine that Lucifer was suppose to end after episode 24 of season 3? Good thing Netflix took over. But yes episode 25 and 26 are fillers that for episode 25 people have speculated was taken place season 2-mid 3😊. Can’t wait tell you react to season 4 and see what you think to Netflix taking it over. Love your reactions as always

Despite some fans didn't like this episode, I loved it 💖 It's always nice to find out about Ella more, plus we are introduced to such an interesting character, Azrael, who had been her guardian angel all that time being an angel of Death herself. And is always funny to watch Lucifer& Dan working together, so hilarious duo ☺️🥰🤣 The last scene was so wholesome, it showed how much actually Lucifer cares for Ella, and Azrael - for the both of them 🥰

These were considered "bonus" episodes, non-chronological to the time line at the time of release. I believe it had something to do with the cancellation of the show, but I may be wrong.

they were stand alones meant to be inserted into season 4, before fox cancelled Lucifer. After the announcement of cancellation, fox decided to air them after season 3

Surprised your Patreons didn’t give you a heads up. E 24 was the season finale. Since the show was cancelled they added these 2 bonus episodes. I think this episode might have originally been intended for S4.

I remember reading the same thing about getting ahead for season 4 then just deciding to cancel it at the last second.

25 and 26 were shot during season 3 but meant as stand alones for season 4, they were under the assumption that they would get a season 4 and then it got cancelled. So fox decided to air them after the season finale.

​@@oxanatarashchuk4598 I know they don't fit anywhere, but I think if you have to fit them somewhere it's best to watch these episodes in the middle of season 3. The converstaion between Chloe and Ella has a slightly different vibe then, but the whole atmosphere of this episode fits there the most (that's only my opinion).

This episode was shot for the middle of season 4 but since FOX canceled Lucifer they tacked it on to season 3 as a bonus. At the time no one knew that Netflix was going to pickup the show for additional seasons.

They may be bonus episodes, as many have alread told you, but remember what happens to Ella and to Dan. It will be useful well further on.

Christopher Killian+ If you think about it, Episode 26 doesn't take place in any timeline, because it's a kind of alternate universe where they speculate on how the characters' lives would be different if just a couple of facts had been different and they had made different choices.

It is hard to watch these 2 bonus eps after what happened in the last one. I really wish I had maybe watch these 2 after the mid season cliffhanger or something.

I think you almost have to watch them here. They are so lighthearted that they don't fit within all of the drama of seasons 4 and 5. But still, I love both of these episodes.

@@PerthTowne I can see that. Both episodes are great and it does let you catch your breath between seasons 3 & 4. It is a little confusing the first time through if you don't know those episodes are out of sequence.

I don't care what anyone says they are canon. We finally get to meet Azrael (the blade's owner) and paying attention to the previous episode one could argue that the ending of that one was to prove no matter wht 'God' did to change things the outcome could've been the same with Chloe going into the field with Lucifer them being partner/friends, Dan with Charlotte, Dr Linda being the caring shrink not just for the show, etc. My opinion though

I can’t believe they canceled this show after that cliffhanger! How dare they! So glad Netflix picked it up! I bet the fans were so so upset when they canceled it after Chloe finally saw Lucifer’s true face, but with little known about what she feels about it! Like what?? I would’ve been so pissed! Lol

This Episode was meant to be in Season 4. Also the next. But the Show was canceled after Season 3 and since these 2 Episodes were already done Fox thougt they would give us these as "Bonus" after this Massive Cliffhanger cancelation. That´s why Chloe said to Ella she saw much worse than "seeing a Ghost".

I agree!! For as long as we had to wait for that reveal and then get nothing from Chloe or Lucifer about it in the next episode is bullshit. It should have been the primary focus this entire episode.

this episode wasn't meant to follow the season finale. They were meant to be inserted into season 4 as stand alones. Probably when they were running out of time to catch up shooting vs broadcasting. But then Fox cancelled lucifer and fox decided to air them after the finale.

Hey Logan, this bonus episode was supposed to take place before chloe finding out that lucifer really is the devil. they were never meant to be shown. they were released because the show was cancelled directly after the last episode you watched. 😈😘

@@Scheherasad As someone who didn't watch the show until 5A came out. These episodes seem so completely out of place. I would have preferred they not be aired as part of season 3 on Netflix. Rather saved and included in season 4. It just really messes with the flow of the story.

@@Tammathah I know that fox cancelled the show and that Netflix later picked it up. I was simply stating that it's very obvious by them adding those 2 episodes that feel out of place. I'm allowed to have my opinion on it's impact on the show and the flow of the episodes. I'm not sure what the need was to tell me the same thing twice. I'm not fox.
