Zakman you *might* still be able to do it just put on your best gear. And the reaper’s first turn he charges up, so make sure to escape before. Also I heard if you let him ambush you he only does one attack per turn instead of two. If it’s November for you make sure to get her to level nine if you plan to do it in December too just to make your life easier

If you max her out she will give you a parting item at the end of the game that lets you use Touryuou in your new game plus. You do NOT need to romance her for this, just Rank 10. However, you do not get the effects of the item until you restart the social link with her, which cannot be done until the end of June. You will need to max her out again if you want the rest of her moves though.

I tried leveling up Hifumi's confidant to lvl 9, but couldn't do it in time. So I just saved at a rest spot....went in and tried my best with each opportunity. I was actually able to escape more times than not. I killed him 4 times with this method in an hour.

If you’re doing ng+ tho you can get all your personas back and farm him without fly season you just gotta be able to fight. Will prob be a joker solo since other teammates too weak early on

So since you can’t despair the reaper anymore I’ll share my easy strategy. Your gonna need to have heat riser unlocked on Haru and put the ring of greed on Makoto. You also need a debillitate persona. Last thing you need is an Alice with an almighty build. First let the reaper ambush you, second cast debilitate, third use presidents insight on joker (ring of greed), then use heat riser on joker, fourth and final step is to use megidolaon from Alice and then you repeat till he dies. I’m on hard mode and my Alice deals 1.3k damage from each megidolaon when the reaper is defense downed and joker is buffed fully. Hope this is helpful and happy farming!

I've played through vanilla p5 4 separate times and in all my time put into the game I've only ever encountered The Reaper once by accident and that was not a fun experience he basically 1 shot my whole party and I could barely put a dent in his health.

I defeated the Reaper via this method yesterday because I wanted quick exp and because I was below level 60. When I defeated him I immediatelly jumped to level 60. He almost killed me in the first encounter because I was lvl 52 and I could not easilly escape, I did escape when only 2 characters were alive, then I pressed Square button so that I could heal everyone and immediatelly on the second encounter he got the Despair thing. Talk about luck ^^"

Or to skip Hifumi(will take longer) Save in a save spot, go into mementos and wait. Reload if he doesnt have despair. After defeat, go back to save and repeat.

I know this video was posted 2 years ago but your comment about him ambushing you meaning you get one-shotted isnt strictly true. The Reaper will normally use his first turn to use concentrate and getting ambushed means he only has one action per turn. I also found it means you can have Hifumi at Rank 5 and you can use her ability to escape while ambushed and normally gets you out immediately.

Although you can't do this in royal the reaper is still easy in royal, grinded from level 58 to 99 using the reaper! (Plus if you decide to do it all in one day, best day to do it is probably 12/24 because you can just go to the entrance of Mementos and get full heal and SP recovery for free)

I guess this really depends on the build of a person right? i seen some dude 3 turned the reaper with Hossou tobi with using charge and uh some other ability and he was on merci mode lol i followed a guide on building satanael to a build where i can just afk and go workout and he will just regen HP and SP so then he can just sit there and auto atk till reaper is dead lol but this is how i killed reaper the first time i knew this before the build

F2 Mercy Well first off, you gotta be fairly high level to get Sataneal, so that seems like a very unnecessary method. And merciless mode doubles the amount of dmg you deal so its actually easier to do it in merciless mode if you arent using this method
