I worked at Rosedale Elementary School for five years. We walk with the students down that street many times just to enjoy that garden. I had never seen the owner of that beautiful house and spectacular garden. What a joy to have found this video. Thank you Lucinda for offering all that universe of sensations to the environment. Thanks to Central Texas Gardener for your work. I am trying, but the climate in Texas is extremely different from that of my home country, Cuba.

I have been blessed to have known Hester Lucinda Hutson and her family for my entire life. Her older sister Christopher was my “comadre” my Tia who introduced me to cooking really great Mexican food….. Hester Lucinda quickly became una otra Tia from the first time we met! Tia Lucinda was and always has been a force to be reckoned with. Beauty, brains, confidence, grace and an artistic touch that is reflected in her garden’s and home!
