In San Antonio’s historic Monticello Park, artists Maria and David Guerrero put a new spin on an old garden with artistic patterns and revived cast-offs.

Oh my goodness, that is such an artful garden, plus so creative. I love organic and not thought of gardens that land such a distant look. Nothing is matched and bought, it was organically designed.

Whimsical, is right, but also brilliantly engineered pieces with moving parts, and other sculpures with beautiful designs.

My husband and I saw this Monticello Park neighborhood home in San Antonio on the neighborhood Monticello Park Historic Home Tour in 2018. I absolutely love this storybook cottage and their fun art and landscaping ideas. We were even able to buy some art for family gifts. I attend a lot of Historic Home Tours in Texas as a Certified Historic Home Specialist REALTOR (RealtyTexas) I try to put the Texas Historic Home tours on my Texas Historic Homes website as a public service. www.texashistorichomes.com/ Sometimes I buy tickets and can't make it to the tour as something comes up but at least I bought tickets to provide monies to help support historic homes and the various historic neighborhood organizations.
