this was the first wand i ever got & it’s still my fav! i got it in-person at universal orlando, however, it’s exactly like the one you got directly from the noble collection - the year & all. maybe the difference in quality just has to do with changes that were made throughout the years of production?

I believe so. They seem to have duff cersions of the wands. Like different years it has been produced. And YES you need it lol.

This was my first wand I ever got, I got it in 2011 but it says 2005 in the wand and stick. Mine has some scratches but its still kinda shiny. I moved to spain and to the Us and it came with me everywhere I went. I played eith it a lot specially when I was younger. And I just picked it up from my basement. It has been there for 2 years, I will clean it now 👍🏻👏🏻

Thank you for clearing it up I recently purchased one pre-owned from a display but the wand has taken a beating pulling it in and out showing it off, was just wandering if you got it touched up by the store or you did it yourself, if so what paint would be best for it? Many thanks 😊

I have a slight question on the metal If I touch it for prolonged periods of time (specifically the top), will the metal of it degrade or be visibly changed in any way? I’m asking this because a family member told me it’d be best if I cleaned it with a cleaning wipe after touching it

I'm not sure on that. I haven't handled it besides in the video. Thats a good question that I'm now curious about though. But from what I've handled it it the videos, it's fine.

Fun fact: In a deleted scene which can be found on the CHAMBER OF SECRETS dvd, Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs were in this moment. The scene when he went “DON’T touch, Draco!” he slammed the snake head on the stick right on little Tom’s hand, not knowing that the fangs were quite sharp. The fangs literally went right in his skin, and poor Tom started crying….!! Jason felt so guilty about hurting him, he was worried if he would be okay. Tom managed to tough it up through his tears sobbing “It’s all right. It’s good for the scene….!!”

I recently purchased a Lucius cane from the Noble Collection, to be honest I am a little disappointed, the thing is that the wand itself scratches, the magnets do not hold the wand tightly enough and in some places the silver paint has started to peel off even though the cane is only a week old

Ya. The wand does scratch easily. But I've never heard of the metal pealing. That's weird... I'd send it back for a replacement

No. I legit put it on display. That first one I just used black touch up paint. I may make a plexiglass display case one day to put it in

And is the wand itself resin. I was made to believe it was wood. It's realy a great wand but mine was 240 aud and it's all bent I wonder if I heat it up and straighten it.

Not really. In my experience it's just the wand. It scrapes when taken out.

I just got mine today from Noble Collection. Had to wait like 3 months because it was pre order… Now that i watched this video I think I will order another, 1 to keep displayed and 1 to handle and not worry about scratching. Lol

There is a lot of fake ones. You can recognize real one vs a fake one by how derpy the snake is. Magic Wands, snake part looks super cheap and the snake is beyond derp

Not really a way. The new one seems better. But maybe my old one was freshly painted. Or just not painted as good. All I can say is... carefully. Wish I had more advice. That first one I had to touch up a lot.

My Noble collection wand spins inside the cane because of the magnet and the weight of the snake's head. Like when you hold it horizontally with the snake's facing up it spins down. Is that common? Or should I return it?

I'm not sure. I unboxed nine and put it back in the box. I'd imagine because it a magnet it might spin. The older version is better in my opinion. It has rubber holding it in place and it doesn't move at all.
