My mom. I can only think of my mom and how trapped she must feel in a loveless, sexless and one sided 30-year marriage with my dad. She had so much hopes in him, even now at their 70s but I have to remind her time and time again that the man she has in mind is unreal. She's living proof that it is the worst decision to marry someone because you saw in them a "potential" for change and goodness. I wish she'd known earlier that it's okay to not marry than to marry and be miserable.
