Bryony Frost had to move to France, very little support from owners and trainers in the UK after winnning her bullying case against Robbie Dunne, hopefully she will find success in France.

She got rides from exactly the same trainers after the bullying case as she did before it. The only differences being that: 1- P. Nicholls was pushing his number 1 jockey Harry Cobden to try and win the jockeys championship this season so Harry was getting the lions share of rides for him and was also going to a lot more meetings on Sundays/Mondays when he might otherwise have stayed at home and let bryony ride them. 2- the 3 good horses that put bryony in the spotlight and gave her winners in the big grade 1s and Saturday meetings namely black corton, Frodon and yala enki all retired at around the same time which then made it harder for her to pick up rides on the big days. As Tom ward rightly said most yards on the jumps have stable jockeys that go in regularly to ride out and school horses so if you’re not attatched to a yard you’re competing for a limited pool of spare rides.

@@ascott6328 yes considering his career took far more damage from the bullying case than hers did. Though if you listen to the media they’d have you believe it was the other way round which simply isn’t true !

I agree with what you said about broyny frost she was hung out 2 dry by some of the bigger stables including Paul Nichols who did not stand by her As a female jockey she a he'll of a lot better than some of her male counterparts riding 2 day and I hope she personally does well in France and achieve her goal that is 2 get plenty of winners and show the racing fraternity here what they r missing on the racetrack in great Britain belfast northern ireland

I find it amazing that the double green has employed Briony in France, as I can’t remember her riding any for them over here and there would have been plenty of opportunities. 🤔

David Bass and the Professional Jockeys Association never fully supported Bryony. Even after Dunne was found guilty Bass came out to say what a good guy and dad Dunne was, and never supported Bryony Frost. Dunne was found guilty of bullying and intimidating behaviour.

A bit Irish for Paul Nicholls to give out about trainers not using Bryony. He did not use her much himself. Hope she is not jocked off as Darryl Jacob is regularly in favour of Paul Townend. Mr. Mullins has too much affluence over Munir and Souede, and J. P. McManus (hard on Mark Walsh).

Are you living in the real world.Bryony was bullied by dunne which was totally unaceptable and its a reflection on anyone who doesnt support her,paul nicholls has no issues.its sad as she has proved to be a very good rider.

Willie Mullins is a good trainer and has an incredible team and lots of money to buy young horses. But how is that good for NH racing? When Mullins enters 7 good horses in one race it is not interesting - it is a foregone conclusion that Mullins horses will be placed. Far prefer to see smaller yards doing well. I believe it is hard for small NH yards in Ireland to compete - and will the same happen in UK - small yards just go bankrupt as they do not have the finacial power to source and buy young horses?
