Luckiest Skimboard Moment Caught on Camera

A perfect collision of talent and freakishly fun waves at Aliso Beach. These are some of the best conditions we have seen for skimboarding In Laguna Beach in a long time. The wipeout of the session goes to Chance Boyer (@1finalchance). Best ridden wave goes to Paul Carey (@paulcarey4) with the stretch 5 across the beach. If I were judging the session as a heat with top two best waves scoring Zac Henderson and Dane Cameron would have tied for first.

Good to see some OG pros still out there rippin. These new younger guys just don't have the same skill set besides a good handful. Skimboarding was in its prime from 2002-2012 in my opinion. Now I'll be called a old head at 34 lol but I know I'm right but happy to see these younger dudes still pushing the sport. And shout-out to that dude saying Grady Archbold, his style kinda reminds me of Grady he gets it. Grady was my favorite as well

darkhorse dane knows grady walked so everyone else could run. dude was doin 540 shuv re entries and 720 shuv otbs before most people were consistent with 3 re entries or 5 otbs. and being a techy guy still absolutely sent it at wedge and lovers. that said, I'll take B Rothe for my personal fav. I liked the idea that you could do a 180 shove it and have it look better and score higher than somebodys poorly executed 5 shuv. and its much harder to do so.

Blair sniping on waves. Out runs and skims past the others to reach the swell. Need to start sound effects of ahhhhh as we see others stop running or sink as Blair continues on. Now, in another note. Is Blair not landing his tricks as well as he used too. Seems like a lot bailing on the landings. Like seeing the rotation of the guys in the chute.
