Ok, here me out. When I was in junior high, all I did was play cod 4. Over and over and over and over and over again, listing to Captain Price and Gaz, and Capitan Macmillan. Who used cheers and mate all the time, cuz they were British. So it stuck onto 12 year old me's brain and I know I talk like that all the time, it's just natural. Especially "bloody hell" and "mate" not so much "cheers" though. Anyways, hasta la vista.
