So its not aloo batata...alloo is potato and Batata is also potato ( marathi )...so its called alloo bonda, alloo bada, alloo vada, the same thing vada pav ka vada...the only difference is vada pav ka vada..has a little less coating of besan..while alloo bonda has a little thick layer of besan coating..

Gujaratis form an integral part of Karachi’s society , there are even Gujarati news papers published in the city. Gujarati Muslims are well known businessmen who migrated from india and set up all major banks and industries in Pakistan, they form the backbone of Pakistan’s economy

Zia Bhai I am a Pakistani and I have actually been to so many restaurants in India with Pakistani names. Like Quetta Balochi hotel in Ghaziabad, Karachi hotel in old Delhi etc.. it was back in 2012, have no idea if they exist anymore.. but it was out of the world experience for me in India ❤️ most people won't accept money if they knew I was from Pakistan be it a cycle Riksha guy or a barber.. glad to see Delhi in ur other video Peace 🇵🇰♥️🇮🇳

Actually most of these (mughlai) meat dishes like Kababs, Qorma, Nihari, Briyani, Sheermal and Taftan etc are of persian origin. Since Dehli and Lucknow were the seats of power for centuries and ruled by persianized kings/nawabs, we associate them to these places. In taste though, the Mughlai food on offer in Karachi is better than any that i tasted in India. Same dishes ve slightly different taste over there.

Unfortunately, a restaurant with 'Pakistan' in its name or any reference to Pakistani cuisine will be shut down in India. A shop started before even the partition was shut recently because its name was "Karachi Mithai" by the so called nationalists elements. Hopefully better sense prevails and we realize we share a common heritage and are same people, no matter what politicians with vested interests say...Thanks to Zia & Yahya bhai, this will happen soon...food is a great equalizer.
