It's been a very long time since the Sierra ran from Jim Town up to Angels....my late mother and family rode that route a few times in the late '20s and early '30s when they visited the Stevenots, Carleys, Raggios, and Tryons.....thence up to what is now Tryon Meadows near Highland Lakes and Folger.
