Possibly change bench seat to bucket seats and build a center console for the interior, change from 3 on the tree to a 5 speed. Engine valve covers and air cleaner maybe paint to match with some old school pin striping.

I would do a serpentine belt setup and maybe a Holley sniper and just clean it up, hide wires, ect. Maybe paint engine bay in a charcoal color with a matt finish. Just lil accents with a pop of color. Maybe some brass fittings here and there to give it a little flair.

Dude I love these trucks, it's funny you call it lucky I have a a squarebody suburban that I call lucky. But love your content, with that being said as far as 350 engine I would do a Holley efi on it, 700r4 or 4l60e , your gonna bag it that will be cool. I really like the chrome trim band that goes down the side that would be cool to do on lucky but up to you. Oh I would do electric fan set up as well. The band you can bring the color from the inside to outside for the color.

What shocks do you recommend? I'm thinking I needs shocks because my 65 feels a little to bouncy. I have a 65 bagged

The 3 inch drop shocks linked on my air ride guide I like. What size bags do you have on the front of your truck?
@derricknelson339611 ай бұрын
I have an ez air ride kit. I believe the bags are 9.7 inch stroke, dominator D2600 is what it says in the website. Hopefully that answers your question.

@SIMPLE.C1011 ай бұрын
Wish I could afford that. The last truck has an ls1 that I redid and cost me crazy money to build. Thats why I’m just going simple with the fuel injected 350. It should turn out super clean though. Have you done an LS?
@AaronPitts-l8j11 ай бұрын
@@SIMPLE.C10 no I haven't yet, lots of gen 1 small blocks. But I have a donor in which I'm still paying off the loan. An 07 suburban. Planning on using that drivetrain and stock harness and ecm and tcm. I need to do the active fuel management delete first. Then 2wd output shaft swap for the 4l60e. Those transmissions aren't too difficult to rebuild either. I do all my own work. I really need to get my c10 going, it's been long enough and I'm not getting any younger.
