Thank you, now I need to check my 4x4 van I built. When I installed the Sterling rear I just eyeballed the diff to the transfer case and welded the perches. I must of gotten seriously "lucky" because it drives really nice! Thanks again.

Just downloaded the Tremec Toolbox! Thanks for that tip, I'm going to tackle a c4 suspension on a 58 Chevy truck, that'll help!

I used the TREMEC app for setting up my pinion angle on my lifted K5 blazer. I had to go with a double cardan joint shaft so I had to cut off my perches and weld new ones on. Great app and very accurate I verified with the tried and true protractor because I was skeptical but didn’t need to.

Always great spending some time your shop. I think most would agree that there is a lot of sweat and blood that went into that truck, not just anyone can put it together like you have. Respect!

Hi Lucky I am using the Tremec app on my truck build. I used it to position the motor and trans .And when I cut the frame in have to make the truck a short bed.You can get super precise. One tip if you have your phone in a case and the buttons stick out take the phone out of the case .The buttons will give you false numbers.

Sorry if this is an old video. not really mechanically inclined but did my drop on my truck myself. I'm trying to understand the app. Would the drivline operating angle be what determines the shims you would need for the leaf spring? Thank you

Those hairpins on the front are an accident waiting to happen. They bind up suspension big time, The pinion angle thing,, On racecars I run them about 5 deg down as they hook harder. Road race car was 170mph car with no problems,, and that with a equal length axle Ford Commercial so the tailshaft was offset as well. Oval track car is even greater angle and again with no dramas and around 8" of travel at the shock. 5" down and 3" up
