Love this pattern and how easy it is to follow you! I crochet very tight, so I will have to try this with a bigger hook. I made this with a I9 and it sits in my palm. 😂 Thanks again for the great tutorial!

Thank you Charlene for your kind feedback. Wow, it sounds like you do crochet tight. I used a 6.0mm or 6.5mm for this. Either J or K.

@@LightandJoyDesigns no. I saw people making pot holders with2 sides sewn together. But im just making a trivet so one layer is good? Also, 100% cotton? I love your pattern so prettt.

+Diamond painting with purple butterfly Oh ok, now I understand. No. Just one is enough. 100% cotton. I think acrylic can melt with heat so yes on the cotton. Thank you so much for the kind compliment. 😊💗

This is pretty, but too small. How would I make it bigger.
@LightandJoyDesigns4 жыл бұрын
+6996katmom Try using a larger hook size. I used 6.5mm. What size hook did you use? Also be sure to use worsted weight cotton yarn. You could try crocheting a little looser.
@6996katmom4 жыл бұрын
@@LightandJoyDesigns I used a size I 9 on I Love this Cotton from Hobby Lobby size 4-100 % cotton.

+6996katmom so That’s 2 sizes smaller. I used a 6.5mm hook size K10.5. If you make it with this larger hook the Trivet will be bigger. Also I crochet on the looser side.
