My deep-set hatred of the idol industry is at least tempered by how incredible these women are. I could not do this in a million years that is just non-stop massive performance and excersize live. And they did it like it was just a small hundred meter jog. These women are amazing and I hope they have people that are telling them that in thier lives that aren't being paid ot say it.
@nox_tech_9 ай бұрын
if it's any consolation, voice acting isn't equivalent to idols, even if they sing and dance. so, though this was likely done at the time to ride the wave of idol popularity, most of them likely weren't subjected to the BS that comes with it, especially as it was in those years. that said, whatever ppl make of aya hirano, she had been an idol before being a seiyuu, and having "fans" without tempered expectations coming from those idol days is what led to the things that happened to her. she's announced her own marriage recently, so hopefully the antis die out eventually - i really wish the best for her.

Aya Hirano is an amazing artist.
@wenisdead6829 Жыл бұрын
@@lopez.jacinto.6726She is. It's sad she still gets death threats for being a woman -- people were way too attached to the image of her as a teenager, but she never turned to drugs or anything. She just went into broadway and traditional theatre to improve her performing skills. This is a truly passionate woman who loves to entertain people. I admire her tenacity and feel bad a mistake she made when she was young negatively impacted her.
This looks completely and utterly exhausting, but it’s really impressive. Aya Hirano and the rest of these girls are legends.

I still rewatch Lucky Star from time to time. I agree it is too underrated

@@morganaluthor Yee, I also have a feeling they made Aqours characters more "unique" in their personality but Muse characters had still so much potential!! Even if it doesn't have the acrobatics of competitive cheer squads, singing and dancing like this would mean that most people would have to catch their breath after the first verse. Aya said that they practiced a lot, she didn't mention how much they had to train in order to at least make this believable-- boatloads of cardio at a minimum.
