Mmm yes fellow re zero enjoyer. Just binged the entire anime a few weeks ago, first time viewing and fell in love, the first episode was never a good hook for me because it felt like a chore to watch, tried a few times in the past to watch the anime but I just couldn't finish the first episode. But then I did this time and oh wow. And thinking about it I did the same with steins gate, teied to watch it around 2017 to 2018 when I got into anime, couldn't get past the first episode, tried again a few times and finally got through it in 2021 I think.

With these key combinations the keyboard is never fully switched off (it still searches for future keypresses - when you want to switch it back), that's why I prefer a physical switch.

@thoccnology3 ай бұрын
@@apeman157 It's hard to compare the latency difference, but maybe it's the easier to imagine this way: it performs like a standard, membrane keyboard from a couple of years ago - or like having a non-high-end PC for gaming, or an older monitor. Pursuing the latency matters the most for competitive gaming, if someone wants to squeeze out the last possible millisecs. It won't be terrible or noticeable by naked eye, but yeah, selecting a good-latency keyboard can mean such an upgrade as upgrading your PC to a better one.
@Skio9287 ай бұрын
I want to buy it, can you feel a noticeable delay while gaming?
@thoccnology7 ай бұрын
This amount of latency is not visible yet, but it unfortunately adds extra millisecs to the overall latency - I'd say it'll be just around the same performance if you'd play with a standard, non-mechanical keyboard.
@Skio9287 ай бұрын
@@thoccnology the latency is so good, idk what are about your tests. But it perfoms better then other good mechanical keyboards. I got around 2-4 ms
@thoccnology7 ай бұрын
@@Skio928 This latency is not bad, but there are man better ones. I guess you're measuring with a software, which measures the time spent after the signal has been sent from the keyboard. On the other hand, I measure the latency of the whole keyboard, from keypress (from your fingers, including the switch characteristics too) to the processed signal (where the character starts moving).

Keybored reviewed that color and I've been looking for a blue-purple forever! It's so hard to find cool-toned purples. 😢I'm also sad that the latency is so low! I was hoping I could use it for gaming. I will have to see what else I have that might be better. I prefer 65% alu for gaming and I just ordered some Gateron Smoothies in silver! Do you have any recommendations? :)
@thoccnology8 ай бұрын
Yes, interesting colors are a scarce, sadly! I'm missing anodized blues, purples, and any kind of yellow! I'm a sucker for nice colors. If you're not into super competitive gaming or osu mania, this 20-ish latency is not terrible (it's more like what a standard, membrane keeb used to be ^^) But if you're more comfortable using a good latency keyboard, my safest and most favorite bet is the TINT60 among the 65%s (or the Monka Alice67 if you're open to arisu layouts hihi)
@radidkhan25418 ай бұрын
Great quality video as usual! I had a random question. Is it necessary to turn the keyboard off everytime we're done using them? I'm using the Aula F75 (bought after your review), which seems to have a great standby time. Is it okay to leave the keyboard in on/standby mode all the time, or is it still better to turn it off every night?
@law2xoliver8 ай бұрын
just put it to wired mode. i have a Neo65 and I have never turned my board off since I got them. some of the budget premium boards (e.g. zoom65, etc.) have a deep sleep option by entering certain key combinations (e.g. Fn + Caps Lock).
@thoccnology8 ай бұрын
It's OK to leave it, or as law2xoliver also suggested to switch back to wired mode (which means/equals to switching it OFF on certain keyboards). I have a keyboard that shows the battery percentage precisely and if I keep it ON, it drains the battery very slowly (like 1% in every 1-2 days). What bugs me is the times when I want to move the keyboard and I accidentally press a key and it glows up/keeps searching for the computer/drains the battery even more/etc.
