I just deleted them all, especially after I found out you only got a Skwovet from those tasks anyway. Patience is going to be my policy. This is a new system - I bet it changes as time goes on. I'm not evolving or powering up anything until I actually need to. Since it doesn't consume MP unless you win, it will be easy to just try them as new Battles release and only power up enough to beat it.

Not true. We're capped at 1k particles, so if you don't power up to waste or battle then you can't collect more particles.

Wait till december and get the legacy moves for free do not use elite tm. The worst part fir the raids is you cannot see the cp of the pokemon when you beat it in the raid the cp not count down so impossible to know if you even want the extra 10 pokeballs they cannot do anything right like if you knew you got a hundo it be worth the extra 10 balls but no you don't even know that

@@DerKennyHHyes you can get the special move during December community day when you evolve, it’s a mix of all in the past year. Also about evolving it depends on the pokemon like how charjabug is a middle evolution but it’s better than vikavolt. Just wait to evolve you’ll thank yourself later

Guaranteed Eternatus will only be available through this. This has the potential to fix a lot though, we can have raid bosses running off this and the gyms so we have so much more access to gather good ones now! Let's hope! I'm fed up with waiting 2+ years for some bosses like Deoxys to return.

Just go off the attack for IVs since that’s the most important stat. Nothing else needs to be maxed but it being up to the third bar helps.

If they follow the same model as last year, the December Comm Day Event will allow you to evolve the last 2 years of Comm Day mons for their legacy moves. This would include Squirtle, Charmander, and Beldum.

Im sure you can get one dynamax for free, then evolve it once thenn keep grinding while using healing potions and revives if doing evolve version of dynamax pokemons. If you fail on your evolve, get a second evolve pokemon and you can keep grinding these dynamax raids forever lol.

Yeah but the problem is I don’t have any candies for those starters…I have like 170 bulbasaur, 20 charmander, and 30 squirtle. I just started 4 months ago so the only thing I can really make use of is wooloo. Once metagross is available I’ll be able to upgrade him bc of the community day. And I don’t wanna spend my 170 bulbasaur candy on them bc I haven’t gotten good IV yet and it’s not worth it

You can get up to 5 candy by leaving your Pokémon at a Power Spot. They will also help future trainers in battle by providing a damage bonus.

You can transfer the bad ones but you might want to wait for a spotlight hour that gives x2 transfer candy. There usually is one each month.

No! Don't transfer that bad ones. Find any friend to trade them with. In the Go Big Max event you get +1 candy and at least guaranteed 1XL candy when trading!! Keep them and trade them away!! And who know maybe you get lucky or bless a friend with lucky Dynamax Pokémon!!

Considering that every starter has a Gigantamax form as well, I dont know if I even see a point to putting tons of investments in them? Assuming the Gigantamax forms are probably going to be better over all, I couldnt see myself using XL's for any of the Dynamax Starters as is.

He's completely wrong because if you don't spend the Max Particles that you are stuck holding them every time you go to a Power Spot. You should totally use your Max Particles to how you see fit. Otherwise, you're wasting all the potential Max particles you can be getting every time you pass a Power Spot.

The typing for max moves is actually based on your fast move. So for example, if Blastoise has Water Gun, it would be water. If you decided to run Bite instead, then it would be dark.

you cannot. you need to catch new ones from the max battles. anything already sitting in your bag cant be dynamax'd unless it was from a max battle(or from the research). For him showing off Dynamax Metagross, that is from a bug in game that allows you see pokemon as a dynamax. so just a visual glitch.

I had a level 40 charizard dynamax (15/15/14). i'm able to beat beldum in like 2 minutes or so. i wanted to beat the beldum faster. so i powered it up to level 50. welp, it didnt make a difference at all. i still take around 2 minutes to take down a beldum. waste of dust and XL candy. i thought for sure i could take down beldum twice as fast.

The move sets is what's gonna make the difference. community days will be more interesting bc i can get Dynmax charzaird with blastburn. im not wasting my Elite TMS on it! bc whens they Dynmax it gets new moves. i learned its the Fast move that becomes its charge move when dynmaxing. for instance, Blastories has Bite as the fast move. ONces he Dynmaxes his charge move becomes Max Darkness lol. worked great on Beldum

The entire feature is just annoying to me. I am new in the game, more or less. I dont have the candies to level up so its hard to get rid of the energy for the quest for example. The entire system is not interesting at this time and takes time away from the fun parts of the game, at least for me. I caught decent starters, moved on, will prob not touch the system again for months. Maybe at that point there is a use for this system cause I dont see it at the moment except when you have already maxxed out everything else....which is basically just doing the same stuff over again, congratz. Or do I miss something?

You have to use a charge tm to remove frustration during a rocket event. Then if you evolve it it will know its legacy move. If you evolve it with frustration it stays frustration

At some point they will release gigantimax Pokemon since they talk about it on the how to do max raids screen. They are new forms of some Pokemon that they take on when dynamaxing. The kanto starters have them so idk if we will have to catch gigantimax starters or we will get energy which can gigantimax the ones we got already or something
