Looks like I made a mistake about the Special Research. Instead of getting a new one, you'll receive the Super Rocket Radar after you complete page 11/19 from the seasonal Special Research, Galar Calling. You can still stack this Super Rocket Radar for the future since this research doesn’t expire. Just stay on page 12/19 if you don't want Shadow Heatran. If you want Heatran and have any old research, progress all to the Giovanni page and then use your radar to battle Giovanni.

For this event, we don't get the 'from the shadows quest' but rather the continuation of galar calling 9/16. How do we get the 'from the shadows quest' or rather how does the stack radar method work for this quest

I'm glad it'll be relevant in PvE; I let my nephews catch Pokemon on my game during my my son's birthday party and within 10 minutes they had progressed two of my three shadow legendary research stacks past the first stage. I'm so grateful they didn't make this another shadow regi event haha

I personally feel like shadow Annihilape with Rage Fist potentially and shadow Karrablast might be good for raids as budget attackers as well as shadow Shelmet being decent for the Little Cup! Excited for shiny shadow Ralts released though!

For whether to use the rocket radar or not you kinda have to bc the super radar is in the seasonal special research which is only claimable until December and we’re not getting another take over before than.

I think it is a good fire type raid attacker so you can power up but it's your choice power up or not! I prefer power up all hundo legendary to max

What’s crazy is the karablast and shelmet are no where to be found, BUT at my job at the wastewater plant they are everywhere! I haven’t seen them in any other place except my job so i literally have a ton of them. I’m only saying this bc you said they were rare and you don’t really see them, but somehow i got lucky and have been able to get tons of them and even trade with the ppl at work so i get the free evolved

I can't stand the way TMs work. Will I use 2 to get the move I want, or will I use 12? Yes, I'm a little salty about how few I have at the moment... Yeah, I know that feeling. I remember when my supply was low, it was so frustrating to deal with. Some Pokémon have so many different moves, especially after all the GBL updates over the years.

I think the best use for a master ball is a Hundo Shadow Legendary that is Meta. (If you’re down to your last ball) this is because you can’t reroll it by trading & shadow raids are hard to do if you don’t have anyone to do it with. I know my friend group don’t go raiding anymore so I rarely get to do shadow raids now..

I like how they start the rocket events at midnight now so the rocket balloons have the new rotations instead of having the old ones for the entire first day,(rocket balloon leader pools are set at midnight) that was always really annoying

Shadow raikou is a top electric type raid attacker. I would wait to see if It ever comes back or something you know, dont rush It. But yea, i would invest. Eventually.

Power it up to Level 30 and then stop there. Shadow Raikou is really good, even without the best IVs

shadow beldum should have been on grunt as first and only pokemon 3rd time been on leader makes it harder to farm pretty the same as it being in a shadow raid except it free

a pokemon that good IMO should be harder to get. At least you can farm Arlo instead of clicking on every grunt in the area.

Actually based on the rotation, it is easier to get it from a leader than from a grunt. You surely get a leader per 6 grunts but the odds of getting steel type grunt is not the same.

i still managed to get the last special reaserch while i had an older reaserch still unfinished at the "find & defeat giovani" page and now i have 2 of the super rocket radars and both of the reaserches on defeat giovani, not sure if my game just bugged out or if it got changed, but it might be possible to stack them without needing to stay on page 1 now.

Yes, you can complete the task on the first page. You may claim or leave the rewards for the tasks. But once you hit complete at the bottom of the task list it will move you to page 2 and you wont be able to stack your radars

Shiny Galarian Birds DO NOT FLEE. They will break out of the balls but will not run. But it could take u 100 balls and berries. So if you run out of balls, then yes use that masterball. Otherwise, keep tossing and hope u hit a critical throw on a golden razz.

you have 3 days to open the game to get the research you have until the next takeover to finish the research and get heatran (if you dont finish the research you can still finish it later and get the super radar for the next shadow legendary)
