I think the "new" way of doing the rocket research might be OK in the end - yes, you will have to leave the season research uncompleted if you don't want to battle Giovanni, however its not timed research so it won't go away. Whenever you get to a season where you DO want to battle Gio, you can cash them all in by finally completing the rocket boss task. Whether you'll be able to finish the season research after that though is anyone's guess haha since there are going to be tasks in there that likely involve pokemon that aren't in rotation anymore, similar to how some people still have the Season of Legends "landorus" etc tasks in their research stack. But it sounds like getting 1 heatran is probably worth it for raids, just hope you get a good IV one!

Heatran actually does have surprising play in the great league sometimes despite its low ranking. It has a bad ranking because it loses to some common types that drag the simulation down.

Plus we just had the comm day classic so if you play your cards right you can gone and take off Frustration now and get ready for December for him to get his legacy move

Easily, one of the best events in the Team Rocket Takeover. I find myself playing quite a bit when they're around. I was super lucky this past weekend and caught a HUNDO shadow Entei. I'm happy to be able to remove frustration from it. Super happy to see Belum & Ralts return. I am going to grind hard, again, this rotation after having the Rocket Radar off for the majority of this current rotation.

Two rookie questions: 1. I have a 14/14/14 Shadow Swibub that I want to evolve (idk if this is better over some bad ivs with 15atk) but I don't have enough candies for it. If I remove Frustration from Swinub and evolve it to Mamoswine later on, will I get Frustration back on it or it's permanently gone? 2. Was Shadow Shiny Ralts not available via regular grunts before? As in, you are required to get s cresselia and you will also have s heatran due to It being in Galar’s Calling & not it’s own research. So you can’t stack the old one, might as well finish It. You can also stack a black/super Rocket radar by completing the research and then just unequipping your radar & not battling Giovanni.

This wouldn't work as you would never get the new research so you could only hold up to 1

Just to clarify, I didn't use my Super Radar back from Cresselia. I have it unequiped but I'm not getting any more mysterious components when I defeat grunts. Is that how it works? Not getting any more components until you use the super radar? Also I only have 3 regular radars so I don't think I hit a cap
