Welcome to the next video in my Easy Bake Test Kitchen Series. Today I made Wild Mushroom Flan from Chef Caprial Pence. It was a new adventure for me in the kitchen. I did look for watercress an know it is at a Asian grocery store and there were none by me. Even when I cook in my regular kitchen I'm always adjusting and adapting to what I have. I have done a lot of egg separating, but on video, I still get nervous that it is going to just dump out on the counter top. Fortunately I was able to get it done and in the end it all worked out. Generally speaking I have made all kinds of different kinds of egg dishes, but never flan. I enjoyed making this on video and glad it all turned out. The Western Electric oven works so much faster than the Easy Bake oven, but this is the Easy Bake test kitchen and I need to make sure I use that oven for these videos.
