Thank you so much for this vid. I’m not ready to adopt I’m a 28yo college student living in a small apartment but I’m watching for the future. I plan to get land with my family and when I finish college and have a stable income and live closer to my family, I will be adopting. I plan to adopt a baby and an older child. I’m single and probably stay that way.

I have so much love in my heart and I absolutely have to give it to someone . I am going to work hard for the next 7 years to create a stable environment so that I can grow my family . I cannot wait to give my love and protection to my adoptive child . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ until then I will make sure to educate myself and build myself up to be everything my future child will need. Hello, I have so many questions I’m only a kid, but I always wondered how adopting a child works do you get to choose the kid like do you go to this huge centre where there’s a whole bunch of kids and you get to choose which kid you want to take home with you? 😅

depends on the type of adoption you’re doing but in short no. most of the time if adopting a newborn/baby the parents will choose which family they think is best for their kid. theres also the type of adoption where you adopt a family members kid or someone else you already know so that way you kinda get to pick since you already know them. theres also adopting a waiting child. which is adopting a kid in foster care. those have more of an option usually. theres adoption websites that shows all the waiting children and of you see one that you think would fit (they all have descriptions of their personalities and likes and stuff like that and some dont even have pictures but just descriptions) you can contact ur agency about them but it is still pretty hard to get the exact child youd see on those. but theres no type of adoption where you just go to a place and choose what kid you want. they are all placed with families that meet the childrens needs not children placed in homes fitting what the parents want. if you want a specific child and arent gonna be able to love any child you get. dont adopt. same with having kids in general. people arent animals. just like you dont get to choose what child you birth and their personalities and struggles its the same with this. you should be able to love and be happy with any kid you get so it shouldn’t matter if you aren’t able to pick. (ik ur just a kid and it was just a question you were curious about but im saying all this for any adults who are looking to adopt and might come across this)

I'm 18. Clearly, I am not ready for adoption lol. However, I want kids, being pregnant sounds like body horror, and, most importantly, I'm aromantic (unable to feel romantic attraction). I'm never going to fall in love with somebody because I don't want that, but I do want a kid. I want to raise a little family and teach a small little guy how to do things and how the world works. I want to watch a little fella grow up and teach them how to ride a bike, how to groan your way through boring homework, how to do what they love and how to love the world. I'm so excited for that, and I was so worried that adoption for single people would be ridiculously hard to do and hard to come by. I'm so glad that this, the first video that I've watched, has a link directly to it

Same!! I'm asexual so I don't ever want to make a baby but I decided if I do want to raise a child I'll definitely adopt! But I know that eventually I'll have to teach them about puberty and sexual education which will be very difficult for me so that's why I'm not adopting until I know I'm ready and perhaps get a bit more therapy

hi i always had the thought of adopting i really wanted a big family but how this generation is i dont think ill ever find a person to start a family and i dont mind being a only parent i would love to adopt teenagers 13 and up because i always hear they are never reallyh always adopted liek the younger kids im in college for being a RT so i know i will be able to have great steady income

I'm honestly really sad , I have always wanted children, I have always dreamed of having a baby and I couldn't and will never have one. My finances I know have to be way to low to be acceptable, and yet there are so many children that need love and homes. But it is easier to get a pet monkey in this country , then it is for good people who could give a child anything they needed not necessarily what they want but what they need and they are turned down because they don't makes a doctor's salary 😔, honestly just doing my research this was the last video that really confirmed that I can't do this no matter how hard i want to. I had a hysterectomy this year and this was my last shot and once more in the blink of research lost my hope. Thank you for confirming that it's just not accessible to some one like me 😔💖💖💖💖

In my early 20 `s I sat in parking lot in Fremont ? near Niles? To scared or? to go into the medical building ..where I had an appointment to get counseling before I got a vasectomy . When making the appointment over the phone ..the person as if I had a girl friend? I answer NO. So sitting out in that parking lot -I justify to myself - because I was young and had to girl friend or sexual activity going on in my life ..That they would talk me out of it . .. So I never got a vasectomy .. Now I just think of how different my life would of been . Maybe I met a liked person and we look into adoption ..and go thru all that ?

Hi very nice content. Keep going. Actually I'm an adopted child of us citizen but I was 29 when i130 have been filed in 2021 by my adoptive dad. He adopted me when I was 1 year old baby and I still live in Africa. So am I still considered as immediate relative family based? How long it takes to immigrate to the USA?

You pay everything. You get child support if you and the other parent of the child already had a child and now that other parent is not providing. WIth adoption, you are saying "I can the money to provide for the care of this child." That why they do the home study to make sure that you can afford the child.

only if your sister is okay with having a baby in your household and can pass the necessary background checks for adoption, and if your apartment has an extra bedroom for the baby to live in and is childproofed

I want to experience pregnancy and giving birth but still don’t have a partner to have a baby with. Seems like the men I have met in the past has turned out to have a controlling or sketchy character and I don’t want to deal with that. I am 38 years old so my biological clock is ticking. Pretty soon I will reach menopause and can’t have kids anymore. I want some kids so I am considering adopting a baby.

I have full custody of my child. The parent I know and they are not going to contest the adoption. Can I fill out the adoption papers myself? I’ve also been checked out by Child Protective Services.

It’s possible that there are different adoptions agencies with different policies & costs.So maybe that’s why she didn’t state.& obviously you should be doing your own research,judging as how you want the baby.its literally the bare minimum when adopting a child. Do.Your.Own.Research.
