I love that Lucy wears her outfits for multiple gigs. I noticed because I love this dress. There's a clip from Bake Off where she's wearing this cute dress. On I Love Lucy, Lucille Ball made sure to wear outfits multiple times to portray real life. I think we notice women's clothing more than men's sweaters, slacks or suits. And this dress is perfect for Lucy - collar zipped high or a bit more free. So lovely and not pretentious.

James Acaster also makes clothing choices that are important to his performances. Maybe you've seen his Trilogy? Eddy Izzard is also discerning about their choices. Commenting on one aspect of the choices that comedic artists make does not suggest that I do not appreciate the comedy itself.

Im a big fan of lucy beaumont, she is extremely talented likeable and funny but unforch in the shadow of her then hubby jon. Glad to see she has her own stand up now, she is the brains behind the richardsons tv show and co-wrote it with tom. Noone should have to stay in a marriage where they are being made to feel unhappy.
