The anime likes to bring one-off characters back. Remember the guy who tried to kidnap Lucy in the first episode? In the manga he only showed up once but the anime brought him back for the play episode along with some other minor characters. Granted, the anime has also added some, like the Edolas Gajeel. We never saw him in the manga. I think the Jiggle Butt Gang only showed up in a side chapter of the manga but then again this arc wasn't in the manga. Be thankful you aren't watching Rave Master, where they showed up a bit more often.

I'm not as big of a Dan fan as a lot of other people, but I gotta admit he's pretty funny. Much better than... (8:14). ... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! (Tries to escape room by throwing chair against the window... only for it to bounce off the glass.) (Tries hitting the window with a bat only to get the same result.) (Hammer? Fail.) (Glass cutter? Broke without leaving a scratch.) (Finally tries placing ACME dynamite on the window sill and steps out the door to hit the detonator. The whole room is blown to smithereens... Yet the window is SOMEHOW STILL STANDING!) What the heck is this window made of-Wait. I stepped outside to get more stuff to try and break my window... So I could go outside. This must be how Shaggy and Scooby felt in that one episode with the Space Kook. (Cue random baseball breaking my window from outside.)

Zamber... I will tell you the truth... The Butt Jiggle Gang will still appear on a few more episodes... but only on this arc. Once you are through this arc, you will not see them again (as far as I am concern; I never quite notice the background characters that much). I am saying this just to motivate you to keep on going and endure a few more of their appearances.

17:38 the butt jiggle gang is an unfortunate piece of this arcs failed humor, they are a very particular brand of comic relief and it doesn't quite piss me off as much as it clearly does you but then again I can't understand how your so giddy about Dan Strait one minute and then totally flip on his character, the next💔 it's a fickle thing, anime🉐 Yeah, the first half of this arc kind of sucks but the second half is pretty damn cool
