Apologies for garbled detour into 我们 and 咱们. I was trying to say that it would be nice to look into the word 'we' to see whom it included.

@Plingu698, thank you. Since I wrote this, I have seen all of your videos except for a few. Your analysis differs a little from statement analysis. I love that you often give quotes from books and other cases, as it helps with understanding. I would love it if you made a video about the differences. I'd like to learn what you do, aside from learning from your videos. Are there any books we can read? Where have you learned your "craft," and what's your background? Also, what do you do for a living?

Hi JC, I also watch Peter Hyatt and Deception Detective, and it's my first time here, as well. I, too, appreciate this slightly different take on statement analysis - up my former alley (enjoyed my uni courses doing such, and tried to apply it in my ESL teaching/ uni-upgrading courses for tertiary students and in-service teachers (back in Asia). Still in-process of regaining my OWN languages (including my native English/ uni), numeracy & memories, after severe body & brain traumas. (Alas, yes, plural - literal head-first crash at force when thrown/ pitched head-first down a double-decker bus stairwell on my way home from my uni lecturing job, and then further injuries when I was blacking out from being medicated into oblivion once back home, falling & smacking my head on the floor, suffering broken ribs each time and multiple consecutive concussions & numerous skull fractures. Lost... MUCH of my mental and remaining physical abilities. My TWO doctors did "diddly-squat".). My self-treatment (since none ever offered), has been thousands of hours of listening to brain-healing vids, and deeply researching "conspiracies" (actually, I found, "conspiraTRUTHS") and things of interest on YT, to keep my very battered brain passively active. Can't stand stinky red herrings, and other deceptions, etc., which this Jay Slater case seems full of - as per the verbal statements given - by almost EVERY "important person" in the case. And, Hi! PLingu/ Bob, enjoyed your analysis, and really appreciate your charting of the language. Aids my battered brain in comprehending and remembering. Thanks, and Cheers!

I love to see your vids pop up and I'm so glad you decided on this to analyse, I agree that it was likely a voicemail from Jay that she probably didn't hear until much later, she knows for sure that he was "off his face" on MDMA and her use of "he wasn't aware of his surroundings" sounds wrong, I would have expected her to say "he didn't know where he was", I doubt that after a weekend of being "up" her phone would have woken her at 8am to speak to Jay which reinforces my belief that it was a voicemail, How would she know that his destination when he left her was "remote", she doesn't say, she was virtue signalling by saying "I was out in the middle off the night" I think she sounds more worried about him being found as it may implicate her in whatever it is that she is keeping hidden from us, and the love heart is highly INAPPROPRIATE in circumstances such as these, excellent analysis Bob and it's so good to hear from you again my friend.

@@patriciaburns1033 Hi Patricia- so she has admitted to the substance use? was that in another interview? Bob, great analysis here AND the last video you did just previously on ‘you know who.’ On this video, I got the exact same impression and reached the same conclusions you reached re: The author of this go fund me. I did go a bit farther/further(???) into his needing a drink. I can’t remember my theory, but it was a stretch anyway. I’m hiding my response to your last video in this comment section to hopefully avoid any PH cult member drama commentary backlash. Re: the things I don’t agree with from PH, EXACTLY what you said. I could not nail down what he was saying re: passive voice, and now I know why, so thank you. I don’t have your education, so I never would have made it there on my own. I’m going to listen to your explanations again on past perfect and passive voice to try to get them straight in my mind. And that stuff about passive voice being different in psychology than it is in grammar… I never understood that either. The price gauging/excessive cost of courses-that’s ridiculous. I never dove in that far-but now I’m bummed that statement analysis isn’t what i thought it was. There was another conclusion PH came to re: doors opening and s-abuse, I’m not sure I’m on board on that concept either. Why the aggressive cult following on PH? I think it may have something to do with his political leanings. Once I realized where he stands politically, my view of him became more skeptical. He strongly believes Fauci is -how do I say this-a liar who lives to be on TV and in the limelight. That’s what I heard from him. Once he went there, out comes the cult. That’s what I got from some of his comments, maybe others inferred his comments differently. But the vaccines and Fauci-what does that have to do with statement analysis? He didn’t analyze fauci’s statement, so where’s the relevance? Now, with regard to the Deception Detective, what have you found? He says he’s a lawyer, but I can’t even find his first or last name, so I stopped listening to him. PH, I was willing to look past his loathing of Dr. Fauci (not that I ❤️ Fauci, but why the aggression re: vaccines? I don’t know) because I thought he had something to offer, but DD-nope. That guy has a beard, a hat, massive black sunglasses, the mic blocking his face with the camera permanently at one angle. From whom is he hiding and why? I can’t find anything to identify him. If he is an attorney, what’s the deal? Is he in witness protection?😂 I object, and I’m out on DD. I have a question. Why do some say ‘different to’ and others say ‘different from’? I have so many grammar questions. Sorry this was so long!!! I’m glad you’re back. Hope your cold goes away or went away 😊 Be well.❤

@@teresev1435 hi Teresev, I didn't know PH espoused any political views. I agree though, they don't belong in an analysis. Actually, someone also said today that he injects religious views into his analyses too but I haven't watched enough to confirm or refute that. I do respect the guy to some extent though. He does arrive at a credible outcome; he is just not trained in the usage of linguistic meta-language, which strikes me as a problem if you are selling something called 'psycholinguistics'. Thank you, very informative and interesting to listen to your analysis. Never thought about Jay could have left a mailbox message and to emphasise the energy aspect opened my eyes. But I don’t believe the 2 men took Jay with them just to sell some pills as it seems too much effort and travel distance. I assume there has to be a bigger deal behind it. Surely he drugged himself over the top, and did something dangerously stupid at the bnb, because he escaped from there and was on the run and then the situation became more and more serious for him.

yes, i wonder if he went there for something above and beyond a small drug deal. But if it was a serious business deal, would they conduct it late on a Sunday night after a rave when everyone is high?

There are also claims that Jay stole someone’s watch either a Rolex or AP and was going to sell it however there aren’t any actual records of this happening as yet so conspiracy is that the owner of the watch knows the guys at the air bnb and they took him there to teach him a lesson and then there are other conspiracies that Jay was dealing drugs and lost the bag with them as well as claims he stole the watch or drugs from the guys at the air bnb… So there are a lot of conspiracies flying around…

@@Plingu698 Maybe it wasn’t about a deal at all. They helped him to escape from something what happened before. Or they lured him there, under false flag, to get rid of him. Or it was all staged, and he has never been there.

I find your take on this very interesting, Did you watch any interviews Lucy had running up to the GoFund me? She is from the UK and speaks very differently from a lot of people, she is very young and says the word “like” a lot after every sentence (I know this is common in the UK as I have family there)… the way you go through the information is like she intentionally wrote it like that, I just don’t think she is smart enough to do what you are saying intentionally and I mean no offense to her, I mean it in a way that she is 18/19 and writing in a young person way which doesn’t always make sense to older people… As an example I take it that the way she says “we” at the end is because it’s days after he went missing and she has been speaking to his family and their friends… You say that a story teller normally does certain things, are you referring to actual story tellers who learn to use words in a certain way or people in general who make up stories intentionally? I have seen so many different conspiracies in this case it’s scary… It’s gone from loosing a bag full of drugs to stealing drugs to stealing a watch (to some a Rolex and others an AP) to them all being drug mules to Jay being stabbed to human trafficking (people saying they took Jay to the coast and smuggled him out on a boat) to Lucy did it and everyone knows what’s happened and they lying… some say the gofund Mr was set up to pay off a drug debt or pay the person he stole the watch from.. Some say his mother is using it to take the family on a holiday for free.. Some say Lucy wants to take the money for herself… It’s really all over the place… I don’t know what to believe anymore… It could be as simple as Jay was off his head drunk/high stayed on at the festival and went back to these guys bnb cause they where going to party more, maybe he took more drugs and made some stupid decision to walk back to the hotel cause the other guys wanted to sleep and he didn’t/couldn’t sleep… Once walking for a while he realised the mistake and decided to take a “shortcut” back and got lost which is when he called his friends (hence he apparently said he couldn’t go back to the bnb) and while in the middle of the terrain he fell into a creak and didn’t make it, his body could be in a place that can’t be seen… If he wasn’t in a sober state of mind anything could have happened, I’ve personally blacked out before on a night out and woke up in a strangers house (I was really young and did some stupid things), it turned out the people I was with were friends of my close friend but I’d never met them before, scary part is I remember going out the night before and that’s it, I have no idea where we went during the night or how we got to where I woke up, we went out at 7pm and according to my mate we got “home” to his friends place at like 5:30am… I remember up until about 11pm… Everything in between is a blank and I even drove my car 😮 in that state… I had to use my phones GPS to get home cause I didn’t even know what area I was in, turns out I was 1 and half hours away from my house and the place we started the party at… Looking back I’m ashamed of myself cause I endangered my own life and others around me but it shows that things can happen which can’t always be explained, I could have driven my car off a cliff and never been found… I do think there are some weird and dodgy things happening and some people know more that why they saying but he needs to be found hopefully alive but it not an autopsy need to be done to see if their was fowl play… One thing to remember is drugs are illegal and even though a lot of people take them and everyone know people take them especially out there and at these raves/festivals no one will really want to admit that to the police or news so they tend to “leave” out the parts that include the use of illegal substances in fear that if they tell they may land up in jail or having to snitch on their dealer and land up 6 foot under… Sorry for the long message but I did enjoy your take on this but wanted to give you more context to the story or should I say stories about this…

that was brilliant! i wasn't going to read it because it looked like too much, but once i started i couldn't stop. You have an excellent way with words, and you should take that as a compliment from me because i know what i'm talking about, and i don't say that often. Sorry about the confusion around 'we', some if it is word salad, i'm afraid but what i meant to say is that Lucy never puts herself into that close a proximity with Jay. she never refers to them as 'we'. if she did, we would see that she thinks of their relationship as close. she does however 'we up' with the family and i think she is latching into their experience ( want him home) while at the same time worrying about something that is private to her ( 'just' want him home -- the word just indicates something hidden, a private worry. i am not sure which bit you mean when you say 'narrative'. is that in the P-Diddy video?

@@Plingu698 thank you for the compliment, Again I do apologize for the essay, I typed and didn’t realize how long it was until I hit post. Thank you for the explanation, that makes perfect sense and now I see exactly what you mean. I do have to say she is hiding something and not being totally honest, It could be something to do with drugs hence she isn’t saying anything more… This whole situation is getting so out of hand, Now there was apparently a song “Lost in Tenerife” by Jay Slater which was uploaded on the 15th June which is 2 days before he went missing… Others are saying it’s a revenge attack because of the assault he was involved in a few years ago… I have definitely subbed to your channel, I find your work really interesting, Thank you and keep doing what you do…
