In my humble opinion, Lucy is the female voice of the century. Words are not enough to describe tone, the talent and all that beholds this wonderful person. I get troubled when I see other far more famous singers get praised and yet none can hold a candle to Lucy! Just anold mans opinion. Walter Webb and this old man also agrees with you!!! Lucy is the best technical singer I have EVER heard, and I find it hard to listen to other lessor singers. I went and forced myself to listen to some of the singers of songs she has "covered" and she bests all the original singers she covers !!

As I have said in other reactor comments, Lucy has reach but no screech. The section where she really let it rip, she still had had a vibrato, and we could still understand the lyrics. She was wide-open belting but not screeching. Fabulous.

Lucy is the voice we have been missing, or longing for. Barbara, Whitney, and Linda no longer perform. Her power and sweet tone just satisfies. Listen to her cover of The Prayer with her little sister Martha. She is 5 years younger, but she will be awesome. What sibling only harmonies they have. The love they display, and the emotion they put into the song is extraordinary. Great reaction thank you

I like you have too many years under my belt. i wish I could see Lucy and other young talents mature and prosper. My two sons have been exposed to Lucy by me. They enjoy her also. It gives me assurance that future generations will have some of the great sounds we have heard. I see your comments on most Lucy revues. I agree wih your opinions about Lucy. Yes Lucy was a complete surprise to me, found her by accident, the song Hallelujah popped up on you tube, never heard of her before and checked her out ....and what a pleasant surprise to find a young lady that could REALLY sing and not just hairdo's ,makeup Tats and piercings and lots of skin hanging out, and the range she has, the power and she actually sings those high notes. I was hooked and binge watch many many of her songs. And I am enthusiastic about her and support her and Martha to the fullest !!! fantastic singer (s) !!!

Lucy here when she sang this song wa 16 years old !!! She has been singing according to her from the time she was 6 years old and her mother was encouraged to have her take singing lesson which she has since she was 7 years old and been with the same voice coach ever since !!! He first video was COLOR of the WIND when she was 9 years old followed by RUN when she was 10 !!! So she has experience plus training plus the inheirented singing ability !!! She has skill and talent and she is drop dead gorgeous also !!! Best singer this old man has ever heard !! And she has a 5 year younger sister she has recorded 7 songs with starting when Martha was 10 years old !!! Check them out !!!

The girl has everything...a beautiful face, and a beautiful voice to match. She has the ability to sing on a level like nobody else. Everything she sings is so smooth, effortless, and absolutely stunning. She can make you "feel" the music and the emotion as she sings and that is a rare gift. There is no question that she is the an angel in disguise...lol

Well she finished up high school in2022 and started college in the fall and has completed her first semister, and she has released about 4 or 5 songs this year and working on the musical Rosie and released another original song so she is busy.... and stunning in her singing performances !!!

Thank you for taking time to review Lucy Thomas singing 'Memory'. In typical Lucy Thomas fashion she knocks another song out of the ball park. 1 mic, 1 camera, 1 take start to finish without edits. Her less is more style leaves every other want to be talent on KZbin in the dust. When she checks her review mirror, the rest are so far back there they don't even register as little dots. Lucy doesn't copy songs, she improves them.... Lucy's rendition of 'Memory' is better than Ellen Page by every metric. Each time and every time Lucy performs a song, her physical delivery style along with that incredible voice of hers, completely envelopes the listener. It is like she is singing a solo in your living room just for you. I have over a decade experience sing and acting. I have never ran across anyone as talented as Lucy Thomas. Many people rate singers in a 'subjective' way. They like the artist well because they just do. Ask them why and they can't tell you. I rate artists in an objective way. I can name specific points why I like an artist. Lucy has perfect pitch, perfect note placement, perfect vibrato, perfect breathing, perfect enunciation, and perfect story telling delivered with perfect use of hands, mouth, eyes, and head. Did I mention perfect enough ? Lucy's performance makes me want to go see Cats. I heard something that I still can't put a term or technique on. At 3:10 beginning the Crescendo, Lucy is singing 'another day is dawning', I hear 2 separate pitches on the word 'dawning'. Lucy's voice in foreground, and another sound (voice or instrument) in background, that is 1 or 2 octaves above her foreground voice. It is an amazing 'compound sound'. Then Lucy launches into full Forte for rest of song one or two octaves higher. Her voice easily hits all the notes, regardless of pitch, volume, or duration. I thought I heard more of this 'compound sound' in several more places. I never saw her take a breath. Her long held notes had me wanting to take a breath for her. Lucy's presentation and delivery style is very effective. She shows 'Emotions' by using her body motions, hand gestures, eye contact, mouth shapes, etc. This really helps the audience connect with her as a performer. There is other KZbin talent out there. Some really big names who are over rated and under talented. They do not have a combination of multi octave vocal range, complete mastery of her vocal skills, sings in multiple genres effectively, and physical delivery and stage presence that leaves all challengers in the dust. Lucy Thomas is the Real Deal and one to keep your eyes on.

I’m not here to plead, but I will say…… you don’t know what you’re missing….. the worlds best young Soprano who was likened to Maria Callas , even at the age of 9. Give her a go guys. But when it is about Lucy , I have always something to say😉 André you are completely right , Lucy looks like an angel, sings like an angel and on top of these, her angelic soul is as beautiful as her. Dominica, i think you expressed yourself wrongly...Lucy does not look like the girl next door ( i checked, the girl next my door does not look like Lucy😉😉😉). I think you meant to say that she looks very shy. The type of girl that never try to show off, and will not put herself in the top row arrogantly. After you will listen to her latest original song: Broken dreams, you can spend some minutes listening to two duets she did with her younger sister Martha: -You raise me up ( done something like 2 or 3 years ago. Martha was very young) -The prayer . ( Original from Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli). Cover released last year, i think. Their performance , for me, is better than Celine and Andrea, because it's feel more sincere, with more warm feelings and more goodness, simply....👍🥰❤️ In " you raise me up" you can feel and see the strong bond between the two sisters. "Rosie " was written and composed by Chris Broom having in mind that Lucy will be Rosie. I am not sure but it looks the premiere of the musical will be in February 24. This is the first song that I heard her sing a couple of years ago and immediately fell in love with her voice. I was waiting to see your reactions when she launched into that line near the end. That's the measurement for any singer who does this song and she killed it. You said about listening to it with your eyes closed and then opening them to be shocked at her age. I've got another one for you. Just look up the song "Lovers", Jackie Evancho PBS concert or "Nessun Dorma" from the same concert. Just put it up and try that with your eyes closed to start. Then open them. I did that with several people and they almost fell over.

Pretty voice. Yet to develop the maturity to really depict emotion. I was lucky enough to see the original West End performance with Elaine Paige and it was superb. I think Lucy has learned it verbatim but at least she hasn't copied the dreadful Jennifer Hudson version from the film.
