What I've experienced is that every time I was accepting and making peace with something that bothered me for a while or when I mastered specific insights about life I felt this "knock" in my mind and it felt as if something was being unlocked. And I really felt some form of enlightment like: "Lvl up!" I've never heard or read something about it though. The mind has its mysterious ways, I guess.

Aaron Higa - You do realize that the human mind, when placed on scale of percentages - from 0%-100% (which are essentially the same thing) - that each percentile, and fractional percentiles that make up those percentages - are vastly exponential. We are beings that are inherently electric and the capabilities of the mind are unfathomable. If we were to use - 100% of our brain, we would be devoid of questions - thusly making us omnipotent, fluidly adaptive to any environ, and the ability to completely control full scope of our bodies forms and functions in the theoretical sciences and philosophies. Everything we know and think we know - emanates from the brain. Full control of the brain, as stated above - would allow all potentials to be exacted and manipulated. All senses felt at the highest level. I honestly don't see how this conceptual concept that they base the film on, is flawed in any sense. The 100% i refer to, is in terms of synchronous potential interaction and processing of all regions 100% of the time, all the time.. Not the 100% of brain surface area we use in fragmented regional and lower percentile amounts. Two different 100%'s of the brain and 1 100% of a human body is required for a pure 100% brain function.
@Xtremeawesomeness10 жыл бұрын
Oooh glad you brought up the whole "brain actually does function 100% just in sections of the brain, not as a whole" concept because I would have exploited that hahaha. But I mean I understand your point, but I would expect stuff like Limitless. Undefined mental potential and motor function. So that would entail quicker reflexes, quicker retention, decision making, problem solving, and heightened senses. Just not to the extent that it makes you Super woman and can see blood pumping through people. Don't get me wrong I'm still gonna watch this. hahaha
@gavipincus649310 жыл бұрын
But you do understand that the human mind is like a type of microwave, it gives off and takes in electrical signals. If someone could manipulate those signals then they can interact with peoples electrical signals and potentially stop the signal from happening. Almost like a remote controlled electric shock

Movies like this are the reason there are so many people who believe that humans use 10% of their brain. The ten percent of our brain thing is a MYTH!!! If ninety percent of our brain remains unused, why would we experience impairments in our abilities if certain parts of the brain is damaged? If you only believe what you see on tv or on youtube, watch the Mythbusters, they busted this ten percent myth a long time ago.

Thank god we only control 10% of our brain. Imagine if we had to tell our involuntary actions when to do things like pump blood or replace cells. We would all just lie down on the floor just doing every single thing your body needs at that exact moment and the next and the next. Living Hell.

Okay I'm going to put this out there since I haven't watch the movie yet, but if she is "accessing more than 10% of her brain" how is this giving her any sort of power to reverse/fast forward time or any powers of that matter since her knowledge enhancement only suppose to affect her?
