You're doing a great job. You're not creating a rod for your own back by carrying them alot. You cannot spoil a child with love and cuddles. Feeding on demand is the right thing to do. I did all this with my son 9 years ago and he was seriously the most confident and chilled out toddler. He trusted me and knew I was always there.❤

Not to be unkind but I think you are creating bad habits by carrying them in the front packs all the time ... and by not tucking them down into their beds for their day sleeps they’ve learnt to snack n nap and not deep sleep ... adorable as they are and how blessed they are to have you both as parents 🌸💕

Thank you for putting this video up knowing that your gorgeous girls aren’t in a ‘perfect’ routine. I have a 3 month old boy born December 29th and he does pretty much the same as your girlies. Some days he cat naps then some days he naps properly the some nights he only wakes once or twice or some nights he’s up constantly every hour or so. Again thank you for showing us your real life as I was beginning to think it was just my baby that didn’t want to be in a routine 😆 especially a rude shock for me after my eldest (3 yr old girl) had a fantastic day and night routine from day one. I had my twins in sync for everything from one week. Religiously, with the help of a night nanny a few days a week. I live in the us with no family within thousands of miles and had To go back to work after 8 weeks. Utterly destroyed my bond with both of them. It took until they were about 4 years to really connect in what I think is a fully normal way. You’re doing the right thing letting them be their own babies and getting to know each of them imo. It’s a short time, but it’s so important.

Hi Lucy, the twins are getting so big beautiful little girls. My twins didn't settle into a routine until 6/7months (ish). We put them into their own room at 6 months & they only nap in their cots during the day (not if we were out in the car or walking etc) but any home nap is in their cots & I think it made a huge difference. They are 1 in 2 weeks and they sleep 7.30pm until 6.30am. They nap in the morning for around 30 - 45 mins & the afternoon 1.5 hours, eat & sleep at the same time. It took us a while to get to this good scheduled place where we actually sleep well at night! Your girls will get there too, they're still very small. PS you look great for someone with limited sleep!!

Ahhh I love watching your videos Lucy. Such a gorgeous family. Give the 10/1030pm dream feed a try again. For us it makes a big difference. Last night I skipped it and my babes was up at 430am, when we do the dream feed he wakes up around 6am. He goes to sleep around 730/8pm and is 12 weeks old 🙂all the best to you and yours, hope you got more sleep last night.
